Guy Campbell ramblings ahead (and also C8 spoilers). Some information may be repeated from the other Guy info post. This is extracted from my discord messages lol.

Please excuse my bad writing, English is not my first language.

Guy Campbell - Soldato Quarto of the Thumb (East)

He comes from P Corp, he's reserved, he's guided more by reason than feelings, but he's actually a softy. He's very emotionally repressed.

He wants to be "efficient, serious, no nonsense" soldier archetype, too bad I hit him with the "pathetic grown ass man" ray. (Although he really is good at his job and takes it very seriously).

Guy turned out this way because he spent his entire youth "serving" his mother. He worked as a fixer to support her, but it wasn't just that. He solely existed to support his mother and her problems, almost having no personal agency. Therefore, he was unable to discover, express and learn about himself in his youth.

Very toxic and abusive codependency. His mother was fully aware of her actions.

That's why he has that much trouble with some things and has to relearn how to function after her death (because he basically lost his only purpose).

He tries to fill the void without really unpacking this stuff when joining the Thumb. Time passes and he starts processing everything and working on it a little, but he still relies on his identity as a Thumb member to feel like he has a purpose. Years later, he meets dear tigerman (Lei Heng).

As mentioned earlier, Guy relies on his identity as a Thumb member to feel like he has a purpose. He really values it, so he's very serious with rule-breaking/possible treason.

We don't actually know if the Thumb knew that Lei Heng was also a member of the Pinky (although, I personally don't think they do, because Pinky members keep their identities secret). And we also don't know if being a Pinky member would be punishable (Maybe we'll know in C9?). So Guy feels betrayed when it is revealed in C8, although he tries to swallow the feelings until the battle is over.

In Lei Heng's boss battle, he'd be like a "Zilu" to Lei Heng. Like how Zilu appears in Jia Qiu's fight as a strong ally (stronger than the other Mao). Soldatos appear in Lei Heng's, so he'd be a stronger ally.

After C8, Guy has an identity crisis. He learned that his partner is in the Pinky, an then he was decapitated (in my hc, Lei Heng's head is decapitated, not destroyed). Guy is devastated (and most likely distorts/is about to distort but gets stopped).

When Kong Qiu offers his sympathy and wisdom, Guy doesn't trust him at first (duh), in fact, he hates him, but he's got no other options, so he goes with him, Zilu and Zigong. (And Lei Heng's head and body).

It actually takes him a very long while to see Kong Qiu as trustworthy after he kills Lei Heng.

Lei Heng is eventually revived with H Corp's health insurance (much to Zigong and Zilu's disappoinment). Meanwhile, Guy has to grapple with the guilt and the identity crisis; at this point, he's left without purpose again, as he's not a member of the Thumb anymore.

I'm not too sure about what happens next, but I think it's funny to imagine silly shenanigans while Pinky shit happens. Who knows. I'll figure it out.

Also Guy is maybe autistic.
