Silver-Eared Mesia - Leiothrix argentauris
These birds of dazzling colors are scientifically named Leiothrix argentauris (Passeriformes - Leiothrichidae), a species native to South East Asia that can be recognized mainly by its black cap, silver cheeks and orange beak.

Silver-eared Mesia (Leiothrix argentauris)
...a species of laughingthrush (Leiothrichidae) which is distributed throughout much of southeast Asia, including India and China. Silver-eared mesia feed almost exclusively on insects, but will occasionally feed on fruit and seeds as well. Silver-eared mesia are seasonal breeders, with the season occurring from November to August.
