✏ WIP: The Immortal Emperor's Regicide
Inspired by the tabletop roleplaying game "Blades in the Dark", by John Harper, this WIP started as a collaborative creative writing project, being now a personal WIP. The steampunk city of Doskvol hides away all sorts of scoundrels, aristocracy and insane cults to Eldritch gods. While some criminals don't have any other choice besides a life of crime, some of them have higher ambitions, and the highest of them all is to finish the reign of terror of The Immortal Emperor.
⇒ Horror in general, sci-fi (steampunk, biopunk), mystery, thriller
⇒ 1st draft - adapting the lore and worldbuilding created for the collaborative writing project
⇒ 3rd person omniscient narrator.

Nobody gives a fuck (including myself), but anyway:
I am not a shipper. I don't ship fictional characters. I couldn't care less about who fictional characters are fucking. I couldn't care less about who you want fictional characters to fuck. I couldn't care less about the sexuality of many fictional characters (not that I don't think it isn't important for representation purposes though).
The point is: you want to ship something considered "problematic" or "controversial"? Go ahead, I couldn't care less. I can block tags if there is something I reeeeeally don't like/don't want to see. I am not a pro-shipper, because I am not even a shipper myself. But if people want to ship and they are not doing anything illegal, I really couldn't care less. Make sure to tag stuff accordingly, so people can block tags they feel uncomfortable with though. It's common sense.
Just let me watch/read the fuck I want in peace and leave me the hell out of any discussions that may arise because of shipping.
Still thinking about when I watched AMC's IwtV for the first time (this year at Comic Con) and that panel was a 16+ one (obviously) and the person at the entrance didn't ask for my ID and now I am feeling very old.
Thank you so much for tagging me, @paeliae-occasionally!
One of the WIP parts I am keeping is this cheeky dialogue:
"Considering using me as a model? I am rather flattered.", he let out, obviously, amused by the girl's threat, to which she simply responded with another one.
"Indeed, it's going to be entitled 'The murder of Edgar Frost', by Cléo. I bet it's going to be in exposition in the Royal Academy. What a shame you won't be able to attend."
Tagging: @drchenquill, @writelikethrollope, @the-letterbox-archives and @yourpenpaldee. As always, no pressure to do the tag, only if you feel like it.
Thank you for tagging me, @the-letterbox-archives!
Ok, I know it sounds weird, even more having in consideration the current Purple Hyacinth brain rot, but I don’t ship. I don’t even ship my own characters, usually. If my characters have/had a relationships in the past, it’s likely to spice up their trauma hahah. However, I have some “odd” (not really) platonic dynamics I like to explore in my writings, so I am using that:
Mentor x Student: bonus points if the mentor is grumpy and the student rebellious.
Flirty Extroverted x Misanthropic Introverted
Bad Bitch x Badder Bitch Than Thee
Enemies to Friends: enemies to lovers is also good, but not something I feel compelled to write about. Maybe one day though.
“I don’t own you, you don’t own me: we choose to be with each other because we only want to be with each other” or whatever else we can call this dynamic. Ok, from this list, this is the only romantic one, I believe.

Can't really consume any sort of entertainment right now. It's weird, but I feel too stressed out to just sit down, relax and watch a film, or read a book. And yet, I desperately want to. Because I need more inspiration for my writing.
Hi hi! The term "bi aroace" can be interpreted in various ways, depending on the individual's sexuality. In my case, I consider myself "bi aroace" because:
I don't feel sexual (asexual) nor romantic (aromantic) attraction on my daily life. At all. I am pretty much on the aroace spectrum, and "aroace" is the label that I think that fits me the best.
There were cases, however, in which I felt romantic attraction (and sexual one, I think, not sure though). And this attraction was towards both men and women (bisexuality).
In this context, mentioning my bisexuality was important, to emphasise the alienation towards gender, when it comes to a criteria regarding sexual/romantic attraction.
Terms like "demisexual" or "greysexual" could also work, but I feel like my levels of attraction are so, but so so low that it really doesn't matter that much to mention them to me. And yet, there are times in which I am really happy to know that I can be attracted to people for who they are as people, and not for their gender and/or sex.
I am not sure if I explained this in an understandable way, but I truly hope that it makes sense, and thank you for asking! I am really ok with discussing these issues with other people and maybe coming to terms regarding labels that may fit me better in the future.
