"Sup?" You looked back to see who it was- oh.. Yoru. You quickly move your head to face the other way. "Nothing much.. you?" He sat down the couch with you, then you felt your face heat up so much you'd be the sun. "Why have you been avoiding me?" the male asks, but you couldn't say anything.

You tried your absolute BEST to not seem flustered at all. "Uhm, I.. I've been busy," You tried to make up and excuse, but then suddenly you felt a hand on your chin, it was Yoru's, trying to make you look at him. "Busy? Doing what?" he raises an eyebrow.

You couldn't think of anything, you just stared at his face with complete awe. Eventually Yoru lets go of your face and chuckles. "Let's.. not make this too awkward, wanna watch a movie?" Man, Yoru absolutely broke you. His question was just answered by your quick nodding, he reaches for the TV and picks a movie.

❥ Yoru fell asleep first, he was probably tired too. But even so you felt like your heart was BEATING SO FAST LIKE IT WAS RUNNING IN TEMPLE RUN ❥ It wasn't long before you fell asleep too, on the other side of the couch. As much as you wanted to snuggle up with him, you had no right to do so. ❥ BUT!! YORU WASN'T ASLEEP!! Once he hears you snoring he immediately picks you up and puts you down on his bed. Before leaving his room to sleep on the couch, he whispered something he hoped you wouldn't hear.

Suddenly that dark room's lights opened, revealing your friends, a cake, balloons, and tons of food. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" they shouted. You gasped at everything you saw, and smiled gleefully at them even if they couldn't see it. "Thank you everyone!" after eating, it was finally time to open presents.

Inosuke gave you a basket of leaves, Zenitsu gave you a new Kimono, Nezuko made you matching bracelets, and Tanjiro.. well, you were still going to open his gift. Slowly you unwrapped this big present to reveal a big box just like Nezuko's but with your initials on it. Tanjiro smiled at you warmly. "So we can always be together!"

It was a normal day in high school; you weren't a popular student, but you had friends here and there. One boy who stood out from the rest was Ryo Kiritani, your childhood best friend. Who for some reason, you enjoyed his company the most. Was it because you both knew each other from the start? Or was this something else?

"Good Morning, Ryo!"

He smiles at you.

"Good morning."

The bell rang, and you both said your goodbyes to go to your first class. Oh no, Math. The top one headaches of the universe. Why was this mental abuse even IN school? Aren't we supposed to learn and have fun? In what world is math fun??

Tangled in love, stuck by you from the glue

Well, you didn't pay attention either way. You looked at the clock, then your phone, then the clock…You noticed something, January 13th, 8:26 am. Wait, January 13th? It's the date of you meeting your best friend, Yoru. It's practically your anniversary, but you had nothing to give him. You thought of making a letter for him while waiting for hell class to end, and so you did.

Class was only an hour, so unfortunately, you had to cram everything you wanted to say to him in 30 minutes. 8:49, it's almost class dismissal. Normally you'd be so happy that you get freedom even if it's just for a while, but you were stressed that this wasn't enough for him. Your hand felt like it was going to break after speed writing. But it's Yoru, anything for him!

Don't forget to kiss me or else you'll have to miss me

FINALLY, LUNCH!! Before waiting for Yoru, you went to the lockers to place your book and notebooks there. A paper envelope fell out of your locker. 'Huh? What's this?' You thought to yourself and opened it. Oh? a letter? but from who? You didn't recognize the handwriting. So, you probably don't know this person. You start reading the letter. It read:

'Hey, please don't think I'm a creepy weirdo or I'm gonna hurt you. But I have something important to say to you. Meet me after school? Fountain?'

Well.. that was new. They probably just want to ask if they can be friends with you.. something like that. You placed the letters in your pocket and ran to Yoru's classroom. He was waiting for you. Yoru chuckled at the sight of you rushing towards him.

"Sorry I'm late, something happened."

You panted, why does his classroom have to be so far from the lockers?

"Oh? what's that?"

"There was a letter that fell out of my locker, don't know who gave put it there."

You two had the time of your LIVES during lunch. Midway conversation, you gave him the crammed letter you made.

"Yeah, I'm sorry it looks bad. Just used up my time from math."

"No no, it's fine."

He assured you, staring at your eyes. Oh, how he looked absolutely adorable when he looks at you like that. A big ego and an asshole but what a warm smile. You two continued to talk about your day, and each other's plans, ideas, whatever you guys think of. You two always hung out on the rooftop, it was peaceful and the breeze was just so nice. It was honestly like you guys were going out on a date. Your chatter was interrupted by a sudden ring of the bell. You both walked to your classrooms. Minutes turned into hours and it was finally dismissal. You looked for Yoru, but he was nowhere to be seen. 'Maybe he went out early for something important..'

Oh well, might as well just go to the fountain anyway. Your heart was pounding. What if it's just a prank? What if it was a ghost who gave you that letter? No, it can't be. Think properly! You finally arrived at the fountain, the water looked beautiful and so did the trees. "Hello?" You spoke. A familiar figure started walking towards you. Your eyes widened.

"Hey, you're finally here."

Your cheeks grew red from the sight of him. Did he give you the letter? If he did, why didn't he just say it earlier? You guys are best friends after all. Yoru had a hard time trying to spit out words but eventually did in the end. The male took a long sigh before speaking. Little did you know those words hit you like a truck. A truck full of butterflies.

"I've always wanted to be with you like this, been wanting to say this to you too. I.. I've been holding this in for so long and I can't keep it to myself anymore. I realize that we've been friends for a long time, but I've developed feelings for you that go beyond just friendship. Every time I see you, my heart races and I feel like I can't breathe. I can't hold back these feelings anymore. I love you, so much." You gasped in surprise.

I have you in mind, so it won't take so long never thought I'd find you

"Will you marry me?"

Those words were just like the time Yoru confessed. Your eyes started tearing up out of happiness,

"Yes, Yoru, yes!"

He'd never felt as happy before, it felt like your old school days again. You couldn't help but hug each other. You both invited your friends and family to the wedding. Everything felt like bliss, it felt as if you were just a high schooler dreaming again. It all happened so fast, but you didn't complain at all. Kiritani in his suit, and you in your wedding dress, standing in front of the altar. "You may kiss the bride."

But you're here, and so I love you, I'm not wrong when I say I've been stuck by the glue onto you

You woke up to little fingers tracing over your eyebrows.

"Mommy?"

It's your daughther, you tiredly picked him up and hugged him tight as you closed your eyes.

"Where's your dad?"

You whispered softly, almost drifting to sleep until-

The door swung open, your eyes were wide open and you woke up in a panic. You saw your husband, with your son on his back. The room behind them was the kids' playroom, who was now covered in Coca-Cola coming out from a home made volcano. Yoru had stickers on his forehead, glitter,and glue everywhere.

"It was you who saved me. You looked into every detail and every part of me, your laugh was like music to my ears, even though being a Hashira is difficult, you kept a smile on your face.
