i LOVE him so much he’s just a massive comfort character for me for some reason??? i just… get so happy when i see him i dont know why.but idk i got really used to seeing people violently hate mel, especially when i first got into the fandom a year or so back? he wasn’t as developed as a character, i think, so there were more people who hated him. so i’m just high key used to crying loudly!!!

but yeah!!! as much as i’m glad that other characters get a chance to shine… i want to see more of meliodas again ….. im weak.

I KNOW!!! They love each other so much and its so upsetting that they just cant be together, they don’t deserve all this lasting pain and suffering. All this time he’s had to wander the earth alone, or with an Elizabeth who can’t remember him or her life and when she does she will die before him. And then he has to go on just to experience it over and over again, never able to rest. Its just heartbreaking. This boi has been out here trying to keep it together but he just cant! I wonder how many nights he’s spent not sleeping, crying instead or if shes next to him just trying to keep it in and praying that he can break the curse. Imagine everyday he is around her being in constant fear that all them memories will come flooding back and he’ll lose her *again*. And Elizabeth is so djdjjdjejs shes just a sweet precious angel whose only desire is peace and still she has to suffer T^T Yeah his limit has been reached and he just cant take it anymore i think his plan to become the demon king himself was his last (though, perhaps only) resort and HE DOESNT WANT THAT, he s TERRIFIED of being that callous emotionless demon but he has no choice, he cant let her die AGAIN. He is completely broken a this point, he’s going on because he has no choice but he has nothing, except her, but he *doesnt* even have that because she will always slip out of his reach over and over. GOD HES TRIED TO KILL HIMSELF BEFORE, multiple times probably and he just cant. if that doesnt make you cry and die inside then idk what will honestly. The FEELS for these two kill me i cant even read the manga now because MY HEART CANT TAKE THE PAIN From the actual sad moments like him reliving her death in istar or when he explains the curse to the moments that are just those two like when he saves her from veronica and griamore and they watch the fireworks I JUST CANT They need a happy ending (please Nakaba 🙏) i want to see them before and after the burden of the curse, when they had/have each other without all the pain (but honestly the ptsd after this is over... T~T ) Protec these beautiful innocent angels who have suffered too much.

Exactly. He’s been drawing this manga for almost 7 years now, it’s not strange for him to want to do something else. His longest running series before NnT was only half as long as NnT is. And other than that he only wrote even shorter manga.  And he said before he likes switching genres and he would like to do something different again after NnT is over. Maybe he got tired of drawing the same stuff for so long.

when I started shipping it if I did:

From the very begining, i guess? Even when the fandom had no idea how Glen actually looked like, but we knew that they were best friends and a bit of their story.

my thoughts:

Well, i can rant about this OTP for hours literally! The most important thing about this ship for me and both characters in general - i don’t consider Jack as a liar. Yes, he lied much with words, but he never did with his heart. I’m sured that Jack felt himself comfortable and somehow loved Oswald (also Gil&Vince but it doesn’t matter right now) with all his heart, but he just couldn’t understand it by himself, he wasn’t used to such feelings. Somewhere on tumblr i saw a post where person compared Lacie with Jack’s “mind/will to live” and Oswald with his “heart/ability to love”. I agree with that and i think that Jack’s feelings for Oswald were much more sincere than for anyone else in the whole world.

what makes me happy about them:

Thing that Jack really CARED. I really loved that scene in the end (actually i hoped for something different, like, a fight between them or a talk or ANYTHING. I wanted them to meet eyes to eyes really much but MochiJun decided to not showing such scene) when Oswald FINALLY looked directly to Jack’s eyes and OH GOD how much feelings which are even has no need to be spoken outloud were in his sight! And i was really happy that Jack was crying, both during the Tragedy and in the end. This pretty much shows that HE CARED.

what makes me sad about them:

Fact that Oswald didn’t notice how much broken was Jack. Maybe if he would - the Tragedy wouldn’t had place at all. Jack couldn’t figure out what was right or wrong by himself, because he met Lacie, who told him that end justifies the means. That’s why i‘m really upset that Jack had to deal with his feeling by himself and in the end everything turned out that bad. I’m sad for Oswald, who ended up betrayed by his best friend, who ended up being helpless in the situation that he could prevent if only he just noticed earlier. And of course i’m sad about the final scene, i really wanted to see more of their interraction.

things done in fanfic that annoys me:

Hum, i don’t really have such things, because it seems that all people who likes this pairing have the same image of characters’ personalities. That’s why most of the fanfiction that i had read was really good. I don’t like actually reaaaally old fanfiction (from that times when we had no idea even a bit about Oswald’s personality) where Jack was all goofy and uke-type. I really don’t like it. And i’m actually sured that Jack and Os switches in sex, Oswald is not always top and Jack is not always bottom and they both like it.

things I look for in fanfic:

There’s really lack of the fanfiction about them, so i don’t even know. I look for texts where author has the same impressions and thoughts about characters as me, something like this.

who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:

my happily ever after for them:

I have a headcanon, where souls of Sablier quartet (Os, Jack, Levi & Lacie) with the help of the Core were transfered to another world, some world far far away, which is not connected to all Abyss-thing really tight, where after ages they’d meet up somehow and will recover the memory of the previous lives, Oswald will punch and forgive Jack, and they will live happily, Levi will have a NORMAL family with Lacie, and Oswald will be with Jack.

who is the big spoon/little spoon:

Oswald is the big spoon and Jack is the little one :3

what is their favorite non-sexual activity:

Well, i really like their canon activity like playing chess and sparrings with swords, and if talking about some modern!AUs and other - i have a cute headcanon that Oswald will like computer games but will be reaaaally bad at playing them, and on the other hand Jack will be good at playing them but wont actually like. So they will spend some of their evenings like Oswald melancholically trying to kill the dragon or i dunno do anything and Jack all going “oh god Oswald use coMBOS AHH WHAT YA DOIN GIVE IT TO ME I’LL SHOW YOU HOW“.
