i was pretty much just thinking the quest for erebor in a modern setting! idk, i reblogged a gifset someone made about the au; it seemed pretty cool! it was about thorin being some rich dude who got his money stolen, i think, and the rest of the dwarves are a bunch of amateur robbers or something. it looked cool

I think the girl running it might have been a friend of yours; American, short brown hair and glasses, always took pictures of her dogs for some reason(??).
