question about lemonade: are there rules at Monster High on when it's okay for werewolves to howl? Is there a sort of unspoken rule among students that if you hear someone howling you have to transform and join in?

I dont think there’d be any rules about that, no. I guess the school would expect the werewolf students to use common sense about when is an appropriate time to start wolf-yelling, same as other students using their powers/abilities. Id be like hearing a classmate start screaming in the distance, even to other werewolves. Depending on their mood and how well they know the other person, they might or might not join in.

Just imagine a wolf howling sadly while their non-wolf friend stands next to them, all exasperated, being like ffs get yo shit together dude

Hey so first of all, I ADORE your lemonade series. I have 2 questions tho: 1 (kind of basic but) are there plans to add more bands into the au? And 2, banshees in folklore are female spirits, but Maxx is a banshee in this and I was just curious is this just taking some liberties or is Maxx trans in this story? (Can he be?)

Answer to the first question: Yes! There are a bunch of other bands added already (Stand Atlantic, Point North, Sharptooth, With Confidence, Crazy88, and Hot Milk) and plans to add some more very soon (Dewayne, IDKHOW, 5SOS, Super Whatevr, Chapel, WSTR, All Time Low, Against the Current, and Neck Deep). Some of them haven’t started at Monster High yet, some of them are upperclassmen, and some of them aren’t students at all. You will see.

Answer to the second question: Yes!!! Maxx is trans in Lemonade. And Cody is going to be writing something about that at some point.

Tbh I kind of expected Monster High to be in like, New Jersey, because of the variations in the seasons and also, it kind of fits because New Jersey is fucking weird and full of rich people and private schools so Monster High would probably not stand out that much

ooo thats another good idea. I mean there are a bunch of other monster schools so at least one of them has got to be in jersey, if not monster high. it does need to be in a place that gets snow so... hm.

tbh, putting monster high in jersey would make @mad-allthetime happy…. I should ask them about that

Are we gonna get any more of Foley’s story in Lemonade?

yes!!!! eventually. we wanna write so much for all of the characters; it’s just a matter of which idea is burning at us most intensely. foley definitely is a favorite person to write in lemonade, partly because of how he got introduced to the world of monsters late and he has a different perspective. he’s gonna figure out cool things to do with his wings someday

There’s me, Char @mad-allthetime, and Cody @timmyrasmussen. I’m the one writing the “main” carknighters story (as well as some other fun things to come), and Char and Cody are writing other characters+bands and expanding the au.
