Last week I saw Zoe Keating playing in a Georgian Church, which had beautiful acoustics, but painful pews (presumably to teach us all about the weakness of the flesh?). Still so very worth it, because she was just breathtaking. This isn't a video of that, but it's shot close enough that you can see her putting her pieces together.
Some of her pieces (actually, some of the ones I love best), I can't listen to too much because they bypass my rational reactions and go straight to my lizard brain-- just *reaction* and *feeling*.
