Who is your favorite artist?
Again can’t pick a fav, it’s a really large category! Obviously I can’t stress enough how amazing Raúl Esparza is. Hate I wasn’t a 2000s New Yorker. (too much to ask lol) Um and I've been listening to this Japanese band Yorushika a lot... like, a LOT. https://youtu.be/BCt9lS_Uv_Y
How did you start getting involved in fan art?
I was in a comic club in high school, and fanarting (lol that’s not a word) is a huge part of what we do! And there is a whole online community, events and stuff. It’s great fun!
How did you get involved with Barisi?
I started watching SVU maybe August 2018? on tv because I recognized Raúl (Must be a S16 episode with his Chilton not-quite beard. It’s so funny in hindsight because I think if it wasn’t that specific look I would’ve never. Barba and Chilton look so different in normal times lolllll Lucky me.) And I binge watched s14-19? in personal record speed (and designated SVU as my background show.) And at some point I went on tumblr and tumblr was like “yoooo look at those gays” I was like “oh fuck” *opens AO3* *reads all of them* and that’s that!
What inspires you to create?
Mostly the perhaps unintentional chemistry between characters, the not-that-sub subtext. And sometimes I just want to see them do certain things. I feel like there are stories that I can and want to give them?
Do you plan out the stuff you want to create or do you just start and see where it leads?
I mostly have to have some sort of generally picture worked out before I really start so it makes more sense in my head. And the logistic issue? I can't stare at my iPad and ⌘+z-ing 40 hours a day ;-)

I'm so bad at this pick a favorite thing lolllllll Barisi-wise, I've always hold Hiding Places by Kaye_21 near and dear to my heart, among lots of other great works, we are blessed with so many talented writers…
