What are your thoughts about Jacob talking about Louis and the attorney?

Well, to be honest, I think that Jacob‘s point was well put. Louis’ first relationship was with his maker and it was intense, dramatic and toxic because they were both dealing with a lot of stuff. But if you turn a little bit to look at his relationship with Armand —like that relationship was based on a lie, and it was manipulative and it really belied a little bit of desperation from Armand to be loved.

So, I find Jacob, as always, to be insightful about saying that his choice to be with Lemuel this time is really about wanting some emotional space after all of the emotional intensity he had in his first two vampiric relationships.

Also, I think he lowkey wants Louis to get his freak on, too 🤭
