Today is a belated new pen and ink day! 🎉 . I have to thank @LemurInk for selling me this dream pen at the @SFPenShow. Though I always loved the Platinum 3776 Nice in Rose Gold, not having seen one in person had kept me tame until the show. So I bought it from John Phelan and his wife, kinda feeling guilty because it wasn’t on my original list and decided to make it one of the things I would pace myself on. In other words, instead of going all crazy and inking up all the pens I got at the show... I treated this pen like the top pretty notebook you want to keep for a special occasion. 😊 . After a rough start to my week, I looked at my inks seeking inspiration and found this sweet Sailor 373 that shades for days... and matches perfectly my 3776 Rose Gold beauty. 😁 . On the smooth Tomoe River of my @curnowbooknleather Backpocket notebook, 373 is such a beauty! ✨It’s a cool soft sepia that shades lilac, has green undertones and slight black halos... I poured a bit of tea 🍵 on the bottom of the page and it brings out the lilac. . The ink makes me think the heather and mist covered hills of Sally’s Gap in the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland 🇮🇪 .
