Entering into the dark part of my Shep’s ME1 career - the awkward downhill Mako tumble after Therum, Feros, and Noveria through the UNC Cerberus missions, discovering the truth behind Akuze, shooting Dr. Wayne with Garrus present (thus negating the lesson learned with Dr. Saleon and prompting a headcanon fight over letting Sidonis live in ME2), and then slamming headfirst into Virmire. Blueshifting straight into maximum angst.

Then it’s onto dying and waking up in a Cerberus lab.

Ahaha. Hah. Ah.

I love this game.

I haven’t played ME since ME3 dropped in 2012. I tried a few times to restart and play through the series again, but I would get through the opening sequence and just be like “....eh.” I think enough time has passed where I’ve forgotten the dark empty memories of ME3 it’s actually fun to play again.

Except for sub-bosses having Immunity while also wrangling the teammate AI and the melee being clunky AF cause it’s ME1 and WREX I KNOW YOU ARE A KROGAN BATTLEMASTER BUT WE’RE LIKE LEVEL 5 FOR FUCKS SAKE DON’T CROUCH ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE CRATES
