     the day passed slowly, but even more so as he reached his final class for the day. with kira gone, liam not in school, and how things were with himself and stiles he had hardly spoken to anyone all day. it was almost a relief when he walked into his last class and saw elena seated in her usual spot. it made a faint smile capture the corners of his lips as the pressed awkwardly into a smile before he moved to open spot beside her. “ hey.. ” he spoke in a causal tone as he attempted to mask all that had flooded his psyche. the male slipped his backpack off and onto the table as he search through it for his notebook.
