[; character solidifying: 42-50. ovo

42. He was never the type to have desires. All he wanted to recognition for his work, and perhaps some ‘thank yous’. But recently there was one thing on his mind: a selective, migrant mercenary group of his own. And to achieve that, he had left his previous life and family to explore the various continents that held his future members. 

43. As one would say ‘secrets were meant to be broken’, but a secret Ike would never say aloud is his family’s history.

44. If he wants to do something, he does it. 

45. With a calm mind, Ike rationalizes his choices before acting, unless it has to be a spur of the moment decision that would either be life or death.

46. Weighing in at 152 at 5′10 Ike’s posture is rather normal but sometimes has a tendency to slouch (which he tries to fix at times).

47. He doesn’t care about social class. 

48. Though his reactions are very self-controlled, his reflexes are rather swift.

49. There’s a monotonous tone to his voice normally, but at times, when the situation calls for it, it can be soft for younger children, and firm for reprimanding those who deserve it.

30. What is your OC’s favorite drink?

She enjoys nicely aged fine wine, but unfortunately that cannot happen when she’s with the Bannerless so

Warm areas. She can’t sleep in the cold (hence why she normally has cuddle-buddies)

No, she likes to maintain her appearance, and her nails especially. Since they’re painted and long, she never really touches them.

Modern Fionn prefers modern clothing, actually. She doesn’t like anything else.

37. Does your OC get excited when they get mail?

Now it’s mostly fanmail, so she really enjoys it. She likes reading about the nice things people send in.

38. Random thunderstorm! How does your OC react?

She’ll get to working. Everything needs to be held down, especially the tents. She starts getting a little more aggressive with her men. She doesn’t fear them though.

39. A strange talent of your OC?

Fencing.

[hair]: length, colour, texture, whether it grows quickly or slowly, how manageable it is, whether it requires lots of styling, do they leave stray hairs everywhere, is it present on their face, is it present on the rest of their body, etc.

The longest part of her hair goes down a little higher than her ankles, and the shorter parts that frame her face are no longer than her chin. The color is a tad lighter than emerald green but the shine is a lime color, and her hair is silky smooth to the touch, and very thick and full.

With how long it is, she tends to have to use her powers to keep it from getting too mangled, and it’s not that uncommon to find stray hairs poking away from the rest of the styling. It doesn’t take too long to style the locks present hanging above her eyes, as she uses her powers to keep those out of the way as well.

Palutena’s hair growth rate is very, very slow, and it took her a fairly long time to get her hair to be as long as it is. That being said, the only hair present on her body is on her head, with no facial hair, just her eyebrows, eyelashes, and her hair.

[face]: what is the shape of their face, do they have pronounced cheekbones or a strong jaw, what's the size and shape of their nose, what's the size and shape of their ears, do they stick out, are they pointed, etc.

Her face is heart shaped, and she does have dimples, but otherwise there is no real strong details to her face. Her nose is button shaped, and it’s proportionate to her face.

Her ears have more of a pixie shape, and are fairly proportionate, only her right ear is a tad higher on her head than her left, but normally she has a bit of a tilt to her head that doesn’t make it as obvious, and that’s part of the reason why she styles her hair the way she does.

[skin]: obviously colour, but also if they're inclined to run hot or cold, do they have any blemishes or unusual markings, are they inclined to blush, are they freckled, do they tan, what does their skin feel like, etc.

Like that of the greeks, she has ivory skin, and is very, very pale since she spends a lot of her time indoors. She doesn’t really have a heartbeat, so she tends to run a little colder than a mortal being, or even an angel.

She has a few moles on her stomach, in the general shape of an arrow pointing up, which she hides by wearing her dress. Her skin is fair, though she doesn’t really tan often thanks to spending a lot of time inside. She doesn’t have any obvious freckles, though when she does tan she has sun freckles. Her skin feels like regular skin, not dry or bumpy.

14: Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.)

Visibly, his upper chest, neck, and shoulders are littered with tiny self-inflicted scars that grew in number throughout the harsh years. Other than that he has no other injuries or disabilities, if you discredit his Brand (which he feels is a grand disability). Fortunately, he has no long-term illnesses either, although he does have a few phobias such as athazagoraphobia (the fear of being forgotten, ignored, or abandoned), ophthalmophobia (the fear of being stared at, not admiringly though. this is because he feels that if he is being stared at people have figured out the secret of his brand), and spectrophobia (the fear of mirrors. this is because he fears/hates looking at himself in the mirror, especially looking at his eyes because his eyes are exactly the same as his father’s eyes. he can always see the hatred and disgust in them).

17: Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress

Zelgius feels most comfortable when he is wearing his crimson armor. Not only does it protect him from physical attacks, but it hides his Brand, which is most important for him to keep concealed. The man always wears his armor, unless he is bathing or otherwise forced to remove it. Since he even sleeps in his armor, he doesn’t really have a ritual surrounding him getting dressed.

23: How organized are they? How does this organization/disorganization manifest in their everyday life?

Perfectly organized. He does his utmost best to keep everything in places where he knows they will be in. His desk, for one, is spotless; no clutter at all. His files and notes are stacked near the edges of his desk so he has space to write and do whatever else he might have to. His clothes and armor are kept in the closet. The floor is free from any garbage. His bed is always made. Everything always has a clean aroma to it. Etc. It’s quite amusing that he’s so organized because his life certainly isn’t, but perhaps this is something he has full control of and therefore he exercises it to the fullest.

24: Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all?

Zelgius is actually quite well-rounded in his studies. He cares about intellectual pursuits for he feels that knowledge is power. Not only that, but he is a curious fellow, genuinely wanting to know how things work and the like. As for a subject at study that he excels at, that would have to be learning new languages. He has a skill for it in that he can be introduced to a new language and be able to understand/speak a good amount of it and even read some of it within a week or two. The reason for this is that he is a wonderful listener and reader; he’s able to pick up words and their meanings very carefully and quickly. He is also skilled at pronunciation and reciprocating accents.

25: How do they see themselves 5 years from today?

Not much differently, really, save for the addition of a few more friends, perhaps. He highly doubts that he will be able to get rid of all his insecurities about being a Branded in five years let alone in another hundred. He hopes though, with help from his friends and lover (if anyone is able to love him) he might at least live a happier life and maybe despise himself a little less; anything would be progress for him.

26: Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t workout?

Regrettably, no. This, in part, is due to the fact that he figured he would not even have a future in the first place. His entire time with Sephiran had basically been planned, up until his death, really. His survival was completely unexpected and therefore nothing was planned beyond that. He just lives life now, day by day, seeing what each new morning brings for him; hopefully more light and not darkness.

27: What is their biggest regret?

Killing Greil, Ike’s father. He felt pangs of guilt soon after he committed the deed, realizing that he had made the biggest mistake of his entire life. And why does he feel that way? Because he robbed a man from his children, leaving them brokenhearted and miserable with no family left. Not only that, he had killed an innocent, for no reason other than his selfish and unfounded emotions; his jealousy. Ever since watching Greil be with his family his feelings of jealously grew. He thought that Greil had discarded him and replaced him for his family. He had nothing but respect for the man; Greil had taught Zelgius how to fight and become even more powerful than he already was. Zelgius admired him unlike any other and perhaps he even started feeling affection for the man, but not one of romance, but rather he saw Greil as the father he was not blessed with.

28: Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?

Zelgius, in all honesty, cannot claim to have a best friend. The only person he has ever really bonded with is Sephiran and their relationship was far from that of friends. As for his worst enemy, that honor would have to go to his parents. They ruined his life from his birth; they never wanted to keep him, they despised him, they abused him, plus a whole bunch of other monstrosities. However, despite all the pain they put him through, the word enemy might not be a hundred percent accurate. He hates his parents, but there’s also a longing there for something he never received from them; love and acceptance. If his parents were able to come back from the dead and start over by accepting and loving Zelgius, in all honesty he would probably forgive them. No his parents are not his enemies, but rather people that could have been the world for him.
