The case of Altix bayonet optics is troublesome because it is a fairly rare connection for which no adapters are produced at all. In a previous article I showed you how to make an Altix adapter for Sony NEX at home (➡️ hispan.hu/altix-nex-konverter), but if you are looking for a more specific solution and the optics themselves are worth the effort, then you can change the Altix mount to something more popular. I did the same with this 3.5/90 MOG Telefogar, which has an amazingly beautiful image. The three small tabs of the Altix bayonet must be removed and a simple M39-M42 adapter ring can be placed on the back of the optics (and in this case can be fitted precisely and permanently with epoxy). The flange focal distance allowes the infinite focus and the lens now has a standard M42 connection. Because the rear lens element slightly longer than the end of the M42 ride, cameras with larger mirrors can be a problem in infinite position, but most analog fullframes and cameras with APS-C sensor as well as mirrorless digital machines are not affected. #altix #cameragear #cameraservice #lensservice #lensrescue #lensrepair #camerarescue #analogfeatures #analogisnotdead #analogphotography #analoggear #hispansphotoblog #mik #ikozosseg #instahungary #magyarfotosok #manualfocus #manuallens #telefogar #meyeroptik #mog #90mm #portraitlens #m42screwmount #m42 #lenstest https://www.instagram.com/p/CPLncCdBhmf/?utm_medium=tumblr
