I just love the idea of Vash and his emotions being somewhat difficult to handle with all the bottling up he does and his plant characteristics impacting on his reactions :Dc
This fanfic has been beta read by the amazing @molten-rainbows ! (check his fanfics out too in here!)
Thank you so much for your patience and support man, without it I wouldn't have been improving so much ever since you read this and gave me advice for it <3

Thinking and headcannoning the shit out of angry Stampede! Vash and how Wolfwood deals with that first thing in the morning because i think him getting angry about something and letting down some of his mask in those genuine moments of anger is super awesome
Before we continue I have not read the manga yet so if you read something incredibly obvious or redundant to your experience, well, haha or something OQNENW
This is a VERY LONG Vashwood ramble I have to put SOMEWHERE or I will explode, so feel free to join if you want.
Vash is an overall very expressive person right? very emotional too generally, but the thing is I like drawing people getting angry so that’s what you are getting from me.
Ah wait, reincarnation VW thoughts wait
Very far into the future, where things have settled down and the tales of a time where plants were stolen and the horrible uncontrolled violence that was present as humans were settling into the planet, are just now part of history.
A past no one remembers from experience. Except for Wolfwood, who remembers more than he wish he did. To not say that he remembers everything of a life that wasn’t his, yet apparently was.
One day he gets a very weird encounter with a stranger at the rooftop of the apartment complex he lived in. The guy was smoking the same brand of cigarettes he did and was complaining about the smell and taste the whole time, muttering to himself how awful they were. The man wore an awfully familiar red jacket, appearing tall and imposing, the vivid image of someone he once knew. Except for the striking difference that the man before him had a deep, raven-black hair instead of a shiny and warm blonde.
The man presented himself as Vash. However, this man who was the carbon copy of the blonde of his memories didn’t seem to bear any glint of recognition in his eyes, not knowing who Nicholas was.
Not like the solid black sunglasses would let him see his eyes in the first place. His smiles had not changed in the slightest, though.
Edit (addition):
Wow actually consider my last post and make it a reincarnation AU. Where:
Vash has not eaten Wolfwood’s food for entire lifetimes and after finding him again and some time later, they eat together. Wolfwood makes the food and it takes every ounce of will power inside of Vash’s body to not break down into an absolute mess.
He feels so undone and raw just by eating what Wolfwood made. He had forgotten how his food tasted like at some point in his life, only being left with the feeling of it. When he tried this Wolfwood’s food, in spite of the long decades that had passed, he knew this was the taste. Reliving the rare moments where they shared a homemade meal and he can’t help but smile in the most sincere way Nicholas has ever seen.
