At the final talk for Lent with conversation and coffee we look at Caring for Creation.  Rt Rev Nicholas Holtam Bishop of Salisbury is our speaker.  7.30pm Tuesday 4 April Christ Church, Derry Hill.

On Sunday Rolf leads the sung worship, Dave is speaking and we finish by enjoying Brunch together.  Hope to see you there. 

We have been invited to join Christ Church for their Passover Meal.  7pm Tuesday 11 April Christ Church.  All welcome.  Please let us know if you plan to come so we can let Ann know numbers for catering.

In yesterday’s talk for Lent Anna Townsend looked at Human Trafficking and how we can respond and help.  Hear Human Trafficking, Lent and Me.

Anna runs Women without Roofs a charity that supports women in Nepal facing hardship and is the author of Destination Transformation a forty day journey to change the world for people with baggage.

Looking forward to hearing Jo Enright’s story of faith at Cabaret on Saturday. We are sold out which is fantastic. Please be praying for those coming to the event.

Sunday we’re clearing up after Cabaret from 10am. Would appreciate all the help we can get. If you are at home watching the kids think about meeting up with others doing the same.  

Sunday night we meet to Pray Together. All welcome from 8pm at Rosie and Paul’s.

Rev Mia Hilborn kicks off our series of talks for Lent by asking Who matters in our society?  Join us from 7.30pm on Tuesday 7 March for coffee and conversation.  

Jana leads the sung worship on Sunday and Dave speaks to us.  Hear the latest news and stories and we finish by brunching together.  Hope you can make it.

It’s International Women’s day on Wednesday 8 March.  To celebrate the women’s group are enjoying Dal and Bhat (lentils and rice), finding out more about WWR and you can try on a sari if you like.  From 8pm at Anna’s.  

Jo Enright is at Cabaret Connexion on Sat 11 Mar. Enjoy her stand up routine and hear her story of faith.

A series of talks for Lent with conversation and coffee covering medical ethics, food and faith, the refugee crisis, human trafficking and the environment.  Come hear a specialist speaker open up these difficult issues and help us explore how God views them and consider what influence we can have.  7.30pm Tuesdays 7 Mar to 4 Apr at Christ Church, Derry Hill. 

On Sunday we Break Bread and Carole continues to look at how we can live fully in the freedom Christ has won for us.  Hope to see you there. 

On Wednesday the Women’s Group catch up over a drink.  From 8pm at the Lysley Arms. 

Cabaret Connexion featuring Jo Enright 8pm Sat 11 Mar 2017.  Chance for you and your friends to enjoy a good night out and hear stories of faith in a laid-back setting.

All are welcome to the Prayer Breakfast 9am Mon 30 Jan in the Upper Room at Wetherspoons.  Pray for around an hour and then catch up over a late breakfast if you have time.
