Calling the rumors fandom headcanon makes me wonder just how many of the rumors evolved from fandom theories.

If the rumors sound like fandom theories, it’s most likely because they are.

Back when the show was airing, people came up with lots of theories and headcanons.

One popular fan theory was that Leo was going to get his Signer mark during the Devack duel. (Wasn’t there a rumor about how Leo’s storyline got shafted because of Blackwings)?

I vividly remember the Dark Signer Crow theory. Obviously it was my favorite theory. Even when I was young I loved Crow. (Hmm, Isn’t there a rumor about Dark Signer Crow being an abandoned storyline)?

The fabled ‘Arcadia Movement arc’ was also another fan theory. Many predicted that there would be an arc about that for Akiza. (I wonder if there is a rumor about how the writers abandoned this plot for one reason or another)?

I cannot pull up now deleted conversations and Tumblr posts from 2009-2010, so feel free to call me a big fat lier. I don’t mind.

Let me end it here saying life before the rumors in this fanbase was pure bliss for me. Happy times all around~!

I expected them to cut out the “be pierced through the heart” thing, but it is still kind of implied with Aporia’s wording.

As much as people whine and cry about Leo when talking about Crow. There is a severe lack of content regarding Leo.

Despite my last rewatch being only last year, I legitimately forgot that both Rua and Ruka lose the duel against Luciano/Lester in between, what the hell? (More accurately, perhaps I tried to delete it from my brain on purpose...) Somebody give these kids a break, they deserve a win.

I have to hand to it Rua/Leo for having the guts to compete it the Fortune Cup, honestly. Because at that age, in front of that many people, I'd have been terrified to do anything, never mind compete in something this big (and impersonating someone else, to boot). He may be a little too confident in his card combos in these first few episodes, but he clearly has guts (which explains how the hell he's able to deal with all the stuff the narrative later throws at him, like, seriously, that's still a child, for pity's sake).
