do you ever think abt friends and go WOW I LOVE MY FRIENDS . my friends are so talented and cool at everything they do. i love being friends with people that have such a wide array of talents. im friends with musicians and 3d modelers and programmers and writers and animators and people that are hilarious and people that are good at improv and people that are good at meta analysis and people that are good at SO MANY THINGS and sometimes theyre good at several of those things at once!! and theyre so cool!! i love my friends!!!!!!!!!!

i was thinking abt the like. the thing where people will defend not writing female characters bc "well they're so flat and boring bc the creators forgot to give her a personality" and like, yeah, that's definitely a thing that happens. it can be harder to click with a character that has nothing going for her besides what feels like a checklist that usually includes "exists to be love interest". i get that

..but also this keeps coming up in response to fanfic? the thing where you are building off of something? the thing where you are already taking characters and adding extra dimensions to them? the thing where people will grab a random background character with a name on the wiki page and write thousands of words about them?

the world is your oysters. you can literally do whatever. if you feel like she's bland or badly written, you can fix that. it is literally within your power to go "okay, what would she be like if she was written by somebody that cared". bc you could be the person that cared. i'm just saying,

what's up gamers, it's ya boys.

this year has been an absolute goddamn nightmare and each month keeps bringing worse news with it. we've been at a total standstill and are getting really tired of spending the past four months in survival mode. we've been way less active because we just haven't had the energy to do anything with Everything Else going on in our lives. which has been really rough when we have pending commissions where each time we think we're ready to finally Get To Work we get hit with another irl problem we need to handle first

if you have anything to spare, donating to our ko-fi would mean a lot. any money we get will be going towards paying off debt and getting stuff needed for us to start working again. this year has been scary and having any kind of safety net would be nice.

uhhhh here's a wip from march thumbnailing an animation meme we've been wanting to do for like 10 years . that's like one of the only things we've been able to draw the past couple months that hasn't been system comic doodles. thumbs up
