Do you want to watch a movie that has a weak plot, iconic characters that were barely used, random AF ideas and stunning visuals? Then, this movie is for you. I found the film to be absolutely gorgeous, but the rest felt very generic. The story is very predictable and boring. Then, you have so many awesome characters, but only Batman & Joker have the most screen time, so seeing all of other characters felt lie a tease. There was so much potential in this film but sadly it was all wasted.”

English Language Trailer for Batman Ninja

All this craziness ensues when Gorilla Grodd’s time displacement machine transports Batman, many of his enemies, and some allies back to feudal Japan. The villains waste no time in taking over and it is up to the Bat-family to restore order and get everyone home. Gotta hand it to the Joker, though, when life gives you lemons...take over feudal Japan in style.

Jumpei Mizusaki directed Batman Ninja. Kazuki Nakashima wrote the script and Takashi Okazaki designed the characters. All three served as producers with Warner Bros. Japan. Leo Chu and Eric Garcia reinterpreted and rewrote the script for English language distribution.

Roger Craig Smith voices Batman and Tony Hale voices the Joker. Rounding out the cast list is Grey Griffin as Catwoman, Tara Strong as Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, Fred Tarasciore as Gorilla Grodd and Deathstroke, Yuri Lowenthal as Robin, Adam Croasdell as Nightwing and Alfred, Will Friedle as Red Robin and Red Hood, Tom Kenny as the Penguin, and Eric Bauza as Two-Face.

Batman Ninja hits shelves on April 24, 2018.
