I don't really understand your original characters plot, but maybe some arts with sisters? I like the mystical and even creepy atmosphere. I understand that one of the sisters died?

Tw for the backstory part: miscarriage, murder, abuse
Lore stuff:
A 16 year old Leonore and an 18 year old Veronica got into a fight because Veronica wanted to go off on her own and play her music gig for people at a bar while Leonore wanted her to stay so that she could take her home from school like their parents had said. After this they went their separate ways and Leonore ended up hitchhiking when she got tired of walking (this took place in the year 1971 so hitchhiking was popular back then). Unknown to her the man driving the pickup truck that picked her up would belong to a serial killer who ended up killing her and burying her in the woods near where he lived. A few hours later when Veronica arrived home her crying mother came to her and told her that her sister was missing just then her dad would storm through the door and beat Veronica all while screaming that it was her fault that her sister was gone. This injury led to her becoming blind in her left eye which is why it’s always covered up. After this she would run from the house (finding one of her little sisters earrings on the ground) and sleep on a park bench for the remainder of the night. Her obviously bruised mother would find her in the morning while her husband was at work, take her home, help her pack up her things, and take her to the bus station so that she could get away from her abusive father. A few years go by and Veronica is working music jobs and volunteering as a nurse during the Vietnam war where she learned to sew and take care of injuries. Then in 1980, years after the war ended, Veronica decides that she wants to become a mother at the age of 30 and starts using IVF to try to conceive. However she has horrible luck as she miscarries about eight times between the years 1980 and 1982. To this day she keeps a scrapbook titled “My Kids” that shows the ultrasounds of her babies with their names under each picture. It wasn’t until her final miscarriage that she would have enough and using what she learned as a nurse about anatomy and sewing she got to work on making her son. He would be “born” in 1983 and would be named Leonard (or Leo for short) Dawson after her sister who she still missed and blamed herself for her disappearance. 19 years go by and her son is a guitar player just like his mama (who is now 42) and goes around playing music at local bars with a desire to become famous. After he gets into a fight with one of the patrons that breaks his guitar he sees a hooded figure drop a guitar case on the ground and tries to go after the person to return it to them but they have already fled the scene and he is now in the woods. Curious, Leo looks into the case, picks up the guitar, and starts to strum it a little. As he does this the ground near him starts to shake and out pops Leonore wrapped up in a bag with her hands loosely tied with the bow she used to wear on her head. Leo starts screaming his head off but Leonore just hops towards him and smacks him with her now free hands saying “get ahold of yourself boy” and she forces him to take her home. When he arrives to the cottage he and his mother inhabit his mother is stunned to see him and Leonore together and instantly realizes it’s her because of the ribbon she always used to wear. However Leonore doesn’t really remember her or anything at all due to having severe frontal lobe damage (being shot in the head) right before she died. Luckily (or unluckily in this case) Leonore will begin to slowly remember things from her past as she builds her relationship with her sister and nephew from the ground up while trying to navigate a new life in the year 2002. (The story might also involve new characters and cult stuff but I’m not there yet so I hope that this was helpful enough!)
