Justice Censors Brazilian Comedy Show for Containing Jokes about Minorities

Comedian Léo Lins was forced by Justice to delete a comedy special from his YouTube channel this Tuesday (16). In the video, which had more than 3.3 million views, he told jokes about minorities. The Prosecution Service had asked the Justice to remove the content.
The court also determined that the comedian should not leave São Paulo without authorization and that he report to the authorities once a month to provide clarification on his activities.
According to the newspaper Gazeta do Povo, in the decision, Judge Gina Fonseca Correa points out that the comedian would be "reproducing speeches and positions that are now repudiated", mentioning in his jokes themes such as slavery, religious persecution, minorities, as well as elderly and disabled people.
