Accumulating sorrow on the brink of confusion.  Cradling the skull of one who might have made it easier to live.  Hearing the laughter of the past spill its guts over this rancid plain.  Ghosts everywhere as the flesh of this world peels back.  

Everything they’ve witnessed.  Meaningless.  Villages razed in the Shadow of Mot, unperceived under a stain of glass.  Here ALL realities melt under the rule of One breaking the seal of illusion.  Laws of discernment and chance reeking of marrow and bone.  Dry, desiccating winter of preordained fealty.

One choice under the Black Sun.  War never ending.  Even after the smoke settles and the new age dawns.  When the furrows in the fields spill green and the rivers wash-clean the gore of man and beast.  Warm breeze down from the hills –  through streets marked with rancidness and plague – seed taken root down in the cracks where they lay.  Nothing else gets through to them save this eternal holocaust.

How will our debt be paid?

Wow this took a long time to make but I’m pretty happy with it. Drawing these kids again was so much fun and I can’t wait to start boarding this out for real. ;w;
