Hey, I'm the anon who requested the previous circus owner reader. No worries! And the fic piece was really good.

And I would love to see another post where the previous owner reader meets with all the other circus characters. Maybe reader decided to check the circus out and feels strangely familiar with it. And maybe reader doesn't feel frightened by the characters at all, treating them with pleasant smiles and complimenting their shows. (Maybe that way the circus characters learn about the strange incident that left reader with amnesia) And maybe after hearing the cage story, reader feels a strange sense of sadness and unknowingly sheds a few tears. And I don't know, maybe reader lost their original prospethics (or they were stolen during the plot so reader wouldn't survive) and given new ones that kinda leave reader struggling to move properly, letting the Doctor replace the prospethics with the original ones that allow reader to move better (also because reader is most familiar with them)

Just throwing a few ideas. Otherwise, the freedom of creativity is yours.

I’m going to go over each character individually

Pierrot

He was the 1st to meet you after all that time… the moment he heard your voice…saw your face… saw how you were treating him. He knew immediately in his heart it was you… and he could safely say he has never been happier in his entire life

His Lord/Lady was finally with him again… but it wrecked him when he realised you couldn’t remember him… it felt almost like losing you again…. What a terrible disgusting feeling…. But don’t worry, he will make sure you remember him~

The first day he followed you around in the shadows, when you finally went to your apartment to sleep… he appeared seeming to have climbed from the window “M-my Lord/Lady…. I couldn’t help but want to want be closer to you… especially after your help today…. Please take this.~” he said as he gave you a red ticket

The sweet gentle smile on your face was exactly as he remembered when you agreed to come to the circus tomorrow…oh My Lord/Ladyhe will make sure you love him like you did before~❤️

Harlequin

The next morning as you were walking down the street to go to the circus, you met another of the circus performers… he approached you all smile and laughter until he saw your face and seemed to freeze in place…

It was you… he knew it was you… his darling~…especially when he talked to you about what such a sweet thing as you was doing here and you said you were going to go to the circuit and showed him your red ticket…oh that Pierrot… how could he hide this from them?

He tried to offer you his own green ticket “Oh my lord/lady please take my green ticket~ I can assure you it will be much more fun than that of that silent clown~” when you gently refused and even said how he shouldn’t say something like that about his coworker he was almost brought back to how you were with them before

He insisted on you coming to his tent to watch his performance he was sure he would be your favourite… he would make sure this time he was your favourite..this time around he can’t settle for equality… you understand right ?

Ticket Taker

As you entered the circus, you saw the one taking the tickets so of course you went there “ hello visitor how may-“ he froze as he saw you something between confusion and recognition

He could recognise it was you your voice… your face… your demeanour how you had prosthetics he could recognise you tied up and with his eyes closed if he had to… the true master of the circus…. How are you here? Weren’t you dead?

He composed himself further quickly as he asked for your ticket… he was surprised by the red ticket to say the lease… after all our dear Pierrot didn’t tell them of your appearance… he will make sure to bring that up later…

Even as you left to go inside, you’re good to feel him looking behind you staring so intensely at your back you could swear holes would be drilled into it…. He has to admit he had fallen into peace with your death… but you coming back was quite a delightful breaking of the “rules”

Jester

You entered one of the tents…his tent… he noticed you as he was giving his performance and the first time he locked eyes with you he froze but regained composer very quickly as he continued his performance

His eyes would linger on you all the time, even while telling the story and performing…. Almost like he was trying to decide if this was real or if his own illusions had finally come up to him…. The only way to find out is to talk to you….

When he finally came up to ask if you enjoyed the show… he knew immediately it was you… his light the only good thing in this dark world… where have you been all this time my dear ? Have you really forgotten all about them? Well, it is probably the only reason you haven’t come to them sooner

But he has to admit he is quite disappointed with Pierrot for not telling him considering you have his red ticket… he would expect something like that from Harlequin but not him… he really is going to need to have a long nice talk with him about keeping secrets like that~

Doctor

You entered his tent and sat down on the chair, “ hello there my dear patient how-“ he look at you not saying a word for a minute just looking at you up and down like trying to decide if what he was seeing was real or if he might need a doctor now for seeing hallucinations…

But he saw your face…. Heard your voice…. The way you called out to him the way you used to…. And most importantly, the prosthetic limbs you had… that clearly we’re giving you much more trouble then your previous ones…

As a doctor, he could never allow his patient to walk out without him making them better… he had saved your previous prosthetics…. Before that will be human could throw them out and had to keep them safe until then…. Now it’s time to give them to it’s original owner~

As you put them on you immediately notice the difference, almost like your body knew those pieces before your mind did they felt so much much more comfortable and easy to move with… as you want outside the doctor was pretty happy to have held his dear favourite patient… though they are really going to have a talk later on

-And let’s just say all of them were not really happy with Pierrot keeping the little secret of him doing knowing you were alive and close to them… but that reprimanded can wait They need to make you remember them first…. Make you love them again…. But this time they are truly hoping for much more~

first batch of portal refs done!! the second will come soon (i hope) it will include spin off and mod characters as well :D

android AU: everything stays the same but the robots are more humanoid. thats it really xD

human AU: set in 2010. quite a few things change (i oc-ify the characters pretty much). the main things to note is that it’s a lot of what if scenarios. what if the resonance cascade in black mesa never happened, what if caroline had a daughter (gladys, so glados and caroline aren’t the same person in the AU. i wanted to explore the possibility of them being two separate people haha), what if the disk operating system project was put into halt and AI never took over. in the AU black mesa and aperture are still rivals in the development of teleportation technology, portals are still being experimented on, human test subjects are paid to test, they don’t go through cryo sleep stasis but live their life at aperture in dormitories (let me slice of life portal okay im self indulgent). Aperture still has questionable work ethics and morals but things work slightly more differently. Gladys is the CEO of aperture and she pushes for a lot of work to be done so they can surpass black mesa. Also important to note, Chell registers as a test subject for the cash deal but she also aims to investigate what really happened to her adoptive father who died at Aperture.

that’s the main essence of the au, still working on it and some plots here and there but, like most of my fandom aus, it’s really self indulgent slice of life crap LOL
