Types of Neheburs - Leoht

Types of Neheburs from the Magic of Dawn series by Leah Dougherty.

Voidlings are born when Wild Magic condenses in bright environments above ground.

Bold means they live for over three centuries on average.

Mall: Their true forms are unknown to all outside immediate family for reasons unknown. They normally possess inanimate objects, as many have difficulty maintaining a human skin. Despite this, they are extremely powerful, and known for their cold logic. It is currently unknown what acts as their catalyst to be created by Wild Magic.

Lux: Their form is difficult to see as their magical core shines brightly from within, but they have stated that they have a vaguely humanoid shape that is made up of a kaleidoscope of colors. Due to their brightness they often wear human skins when among different species as to not blind them, and it is rare for those outside of their family members and mates to see their true form. Their magical core is sensitive to dark environments, and they are thus greatly weakened during the night (doubly so if there is a complete absence of light).

Sentinelle: When exposed to more moonlight than any other light a Sentinelle will be born. They are animal-like creatures made of soft moonlight. Humans have mistaken them for spirit animals in the past as Sentinelle are naturally drawn toward troubled beings and crave to guide them down a better path. Some Sentinelle will bond strongly with a human or Nehebur to such an extent they will pass on when their partner does. This bond is greatly different from a mating bond; however, this bond can be shared between mates.

Leoht integrates fashion and tech in a handbag

Leoht has a practical, yet fashionable handbag available for the ladies.  This black leather handbag is equipped with built in tech to help charge and find your gadgets.

The bag has a built in 6,000 or 10,000mAh battery built into the base that can be used to charge your gadgets, such as your smartphone.  And because bags can get easily cluttered with tons of “things”, there’s a built in light to help you find your keys, phone, wallet etc.  In addition to the tech, the bag has a secret compartment to be used to store whatever you may not want found.

The bag itself is charged wirelessly via a custom QI inductive charging plate which is included in the price of the bag.  If you need to recharge the bag while away from home, you can use the included micro UBS port.

The bag is currently a prototype and is still in development stages.  plans to reduce the overall weight and padding the straps are still in play.  The bag is expected to retail for $300-$350.  You will soon be able to preorder the bags on Kickstarter as of early spring and potentially purchase them in stores as early as Fall 2015.
