Elizabeth Tufts Brown, associate registrar at Carnegie Museum of Art, discusses the extensive number of CoBrA artworks in the museum’s permanent collection. Leon Arkus, director of CMOA from 1968–1980, was a major advocate for this cadre of artists from Copenhagen, Brussels, and Amsterdam.
