Philomena grew up into the most angelic little toddler, always staying close to her older sister that she adores.
Leon, a man of few words, can not express to Theano how wonderful he thinks she is. How much he adores her for bringing him this gift of a family. He tries to show her how he feels instead, caressing her cheek and kissing her daily. Looking deep into her eyes, trying to convey what he cannot put into words. And Theano gets it. The love radiating from her husband is blinding and she is astonished that such love can exist.
Leon and Theano were rejoicing the arrival of the new baby, not only because the child was finally with them, but also because they could soon become intimate again. They were just as much in love as ever, if not more so now. Leon adored his wife more than he could say and had longed to be close to her again.
Life at the farm soon returned to a steady pace. Everyone kept doting on cute little Theodora, who had shown signs of a little jealousy now that her parents couldn’t give her their full attention anymore. Luckily she had her uncle and grandparents to shower her with love.
And Quoro had found a man that seemed to share his preferences. The times of the pool gardens, where men could freely show their love for each other, were over and people had started viewing the love between men as something unholy. That didn’t mean that they had stopped feeling this love however. So now, he had to be a bit more secretive about it.
Getting into The Middle Ages, this is what my darlings look like.
From top to bottom, first to last:
Roko Ton Limnón
We Ton Elatiríon
Leon Lake
Theano Lake
Quoro Tou Vorrá

I’m rambling for a bit below so I’m putting it under cut in case you’re not very interested haha.
They look quite “plain” right now, but I plan to upgrade their outfits should they rise in the social hierarchy (meaning: if they earn enough gold). Also, you may wonder why Quoro is a blacksmith all of a sudden, but it makes sense, I swear. Remember that he’s worked as a manual laborer since he was a teen, and he’s been doing quite a lot of woodwork off screen. This also allows him to have his own house on the lot, with his workshop downstairs and sparse living quarters upstairs. Can’t wait for you to see my build for this era, I’m really quite pleased with it.
The last name has now become Lake (as you may have seen earlier in the tags). From “of the Lakes” to “Ton Limnón” (which was the Greek google translation of the earlier) and now simplified to just Lake. Hope that makes sense.
Also... I feel so weird changing Theano’s eyebrows. She was so cute with her unibrow that now I think she looks quite unfriendly hahaha. But I wanted her to go along with “the fashionable brow” and during the middle ages they were quite thin (if not shaved completely).
Alrighty. Can’t wait to see what they get up to this era. Now I’m as clueless as you! And post will be more scarce again as I need to play before I can post anything.
The family has rebuilt their home to fit the new era and are very pleased with all the space and activities that they are now able to do (even though they may sting at times).

this post basically has no point other than showing off a bit of the new, middle ages, build
Time had come for Edda’s hair to turn grey as well. She wasn’t too worried about reaching her old age however, having accepted a long time ago that time wasn’t a thing to be stopped. She returned to her studies with her cauldron, but this time something went horribly wrong. All of a sudden a dark, putrid smoke started billowing out from it and she fell to the floor. Roko and Hel, who had been excitedly observing her, also fainted. It seemed to affect all of them except the little boy, Lykos, who got very scared. Thankfully, his father and grandmothers woke up a little while later. This seemed to put Edda off using the cauldron and she decided then that she wouldn’t use it when others were near in the future.
...
It was soon time for Leon to become a child, with all that it meant. For him, much stayed the same. He was still a calm boy with great imagination who loved to play with his sticks and stones, much as his father had done when he was younger. And he loved being a big brother, adoring little Lykos with all his heart.

I had a freaking heart attack when that happened, not gonna lie
As time passed, Theano was becoming more and more exhausted. At first she worried that she might be ill, but she soon saw the signs and realised what they meant.
Later that evening after dinner, she told Leon the happy news.
“We’re having another child!” she smiled. Leon was just as happy to hear the news as Theano was delivering them. But he had to admit that working the farm all day and tending to two little ones was becoming exhausting. It was worth it though.
Theano spent much time snuggling with her little Philomena, telling her that she too was to become a big sister soon. She loved all her children dearly and was so happy there would be another one to join them soon.
It was time to plan for the next harvest and everyone was helping out to get the job done quicker. Planting, weeding, watering and fertilizing was on the agenda and Leon, We and Quoro worked tirelessly to get it all done in one day. Roko helped for a while too, but he had someplace else to be. Now that he’d gotten older he was tired of fishing, and decided to dedicate what was rest of his life to his passion for music. So he’d taken the job as an entertainer at the village pub. playing the lute. It wasn’t very well paid and he wasn’t playing for any kings or queens, but he enjoyed it tremendously.
Theano spent most of her days in the company of her little Theodora. This little charmer had the whole family twisted around her little finger for she was social, loving, funny and just so darn cute. And Theano loved every second she got to spend with her, and couldn’t wait for the next little one to join them.
Theano had some amazing news for her husband as they finished dinner.
“Leon, I have fantastic news,” she beamed. “We’re expecting another little one!”
She pointed excitedly at her belly, which was already bulging a little. Leon sat for a moment in shocked silence, then laughed happily.
“I can not wait!” he said, “These halls shall soon be filled with an army of little laughing children!” Theano rolled her eyes.
“Hey, it’s me that’s going to have to push that army out of me, nu-uh mister!” but she smiled, happily imagining lots of their children, playing together.
She stayed at the table after Leon had gone into the living room. She was feeling a bit nauseous and had to rest for a while before going after him. She hadn’t been sitting there long however when Roko came to check on her.
“Are you alright?” he asked her gently. She smiled at him, he really was the sweetest father-in-law anyone could ask for.
“Oh yes, I’m quite alright. Just feeling a bit nauseous.” she blinked. Roko looked at her, then at her belly. He pointed at it, questioningly.
“Tadaa!” she laughed. But she was quite shocked when Roko broke out in happy tears.
“It just makes me so happy to see the two of you starting your family. It really is the greatest pride of my life, my family. I’m happy my son has that too.”
“We are truly blessed to have you Roko!” she said, smiling at him.
