Chapter Five: Positive & Problems
The clinic was too cold, too quiet, and too… medical. Leon hated it immediately.
He and Noel sat side by side on the crinkly paper-covered exam table, their hands brushing every so often like they were both waiting for a fire drill that never came. They’d been through shootouts, interrogations, and full-blown espionage—but nothing had prepared them for a sterile room with diagrams of uteruses on the walls.
“Yo, why does the fallopian tube look like it’s tryna fight somebody?” Leon whispered.
Noel squinted. “Deadass. That thing got hands.”
Their awkward banter barely helped. A nurse came in, did the standard check-in, and left them to wait for the doctor. That’s when Leon started spiraling out loud.
“So like… what if you’re pregnant and the baby come out already mad ‘cause it knows what kinda world this is?”
Noel blinked. “That’s literally what babies do, Leon. They cry. Loudly.”
“I’m just sayin’,” he said, leaning back on the table, “what if it come out tryna square up with me?”
“Then I hope it got your aim, ‘cause I’m duckin’ first.”
Before they could keep roasting each other, the doctor entered—a middle-aged woman with a calm smile and a clipboard. She looked like she’d seen everything.
She hadn’t.
“Hi, Noel, Leon. I’m Dr. Ramsey. I see we’re here for a pregnancy confirmation?”
Noel nodded. “Yeah. I took a test at home, but like, I wanted the official word before I start eatin’ pickles in ice cream and cryin’ at furniture commercials.”
Dr. Ramsey gave a professional chuckle. “Alright, we can run a test and—”
Leon raised a hand. “Ayo, quick question. When the baby starts forming, like… does it know who’s who yet? Like does it know I’m the dad and not like… a random postman?”
The doctor blinked. “Uh… genetically, yes. Biologically, it—”
“Cool, cool. So it ain’t like psychic or nothin’?”
Noel turned to him. “Leon, what the hell are you on?”
“I just wanna make sure we ain’t raising Professor X in there, alright?”
Dr. Ramsey tried to redirect. “Let’s focus on the pregnancy test for now. We’ll do a quick urine sample and—”
“Also,” Noel cut in, “do babies remember stuff from the womb? Like, if we watch Seinfeld too much, is it gonna pop out quotin’ George Costanza?”
“I’m gonna be honest with you,” the doctor said, very gently, “this is the strangest appointment I’ve had in… years.”
Leon nodded, unbothered. “We aim to impress.”
The test only took a few minutes. While they waited, Noel laid back on the table and stared at the ceiling.
“You ever think about what kind of parent you’d be?” she asked.
“Yeah,” Leon said softly. “I’d be the kinda dad that knows what day your kid got gym class, so they don’t end up wearin’ jeans and sufferin’.”
Noel laughed. “That’s oddly specific.”
“Childhood trauma.”
Then the door opened again. Dr. Ramsey walked in with a small smile, all business.
“Well,” she said. “You’re pregnant.”
Silence.
Noel sat up slowly. Leon stared at the floor like it just confessed a secret.
Dr. Ramsey waited, then added gently, “You can, you know… react.”
Leon looked up. “Right. Yeah. It’s just… crazy.”
Noel whispered, “I knew it.”
They both nodded, processing.
And then Leon raised his hand again.
“One more thing.”
Dr. Ramsey sighed. “Yes?”
“Is there a chance the baby’s already judging us?”
Noel groaned, “Leon.”
“Okay! I’m just sayin’—some souls come out ancient.”
Dr. Ramsey blinked at both of them.
“Y’all are gonna be… interesting parents,” she said carefully.
They both grinned.
“No doubt,” Leon said. “No doubt.”
And with that, they left the clinic—pregnant, panicked, and entirely themselves. But..not before Noel snapped a pic with the nurse for “memories.”
Chapter Four: Roleplay & Revelations
((Sorry I’ve been gone! I’ve been busy with college graduation and a death in the family. But I’ll be posting the rest of the chapters I have done))
Word count: no clue just read
Warnings: extremely corny ideas.
Breed Week had extended into Breed Weeks—plural.
Two full cycles in, and neither of them had tapped out. Somehow, amid the groans, the sore hips, and an alarming amount of Gatorade, they were still going strong. But something was missing. The spark was fading into routine, and routine wasn’t sexy. It was calculated. Predictable. Mechanical.
They were both bored—and if two ex-criminals turned accidental domestic partners were feeling bored, something had to change.
So they sat in the middle of the bed one lazy afternoon, surrounded by empty takeout containers and the faint sound of Kramer barging into Jerry’s apartment from the TV in the background.
Leon poked at the last of his lo mein with a chopstick. “Yo, we gotta spice this up.”
Noel looked at him over her iced tea. “You tryna use toys or talk dirty? ’Cause last time you called me ‘mommy’ we both couldn’t stop laughing.”
“Nah,” Leon said with a grin. “I’m talkin’ scenarios. Roleplay.”
Noel perked up. “Go on.”
“We could do, like… spy vs. spy. Assassin meets mark. Undercover cop seduces criminal.”
She nodded thoughtfully. “Okay, okay. Or—hear me out—we go full telenovela. I’m the heiress with a secret, you’re the rugged mechanic who doesn’t know he’s my long-lost half-brother.”
Leon cackled. “Why you always tryna bring family drama into the bedroom?”
“Because it’s the drama that sells, Leon!”
They laughed for a good minute before Leon, deadpan, said, “We could always do a Seinfeld-inspired one.”
Noel stopped. Blinked. “…How the hell would that be sexy?”
Leon shrugged. “I don’t know. You could be Elaine. I’m George. We argue about nothing, and then—bam—we’re naked.”
She stared at him like he’d just spoken fluent Martian.
“I’m not havin’ sex with you while you pretend to be George Costanza,” she said flatly.
“You say that now, but what if I bring the bald cap into it—”
“Leon.”
He leaned forward, grinning. “You could wear the puffy shirt—”
“Leon.”
But before she could finish scolding him, her expression changed. Fast. That laugh in her throat twisted into a tight grimace. She slapped a hand over her mouth.
Leon straightened up. “Yo, you good?”
Noel blinked at him, wide-eyed, and then bolted off the bed like she’d been shot.
The sound of violent retching echoed from the bathroom less than a second later.
Leon sat frozen for a moment, chopsticks still in hand. “…No fucking way.”
He dropped them, scrambled off the bed, and hovered outside the bathroom door. “Babe?”
No response—just the sound of her emptying her soul into the toilet.
“You alright?”
“Don’t come in here!” she managed to gasp.
He winced. “Okay. Cool. Cool cool cool.” He started pacing but the fuck? What is this the 90’s ? And with that he stopped.
There was a long silence. Then the toilet flushed.
He heard the faucet run. Then the door cracked open and Noel peeked out, looking pale and slightly dazed.
Leon tilted his head. “Sooo…”
“I don’t wanna talk about it yet.”
“Totally fair. But… you know I gotta say it.”
She groaned, resting her forehead against the doorframe. “Go ahead.”
He grinned. “I guess it worked.”
Noel flipped him off, but there was no real bite to it. Her lips twitched like she was trying not to smile.
He stepped forward, gently pulling her into a hug despite her protests. “Damn. We really out here about to be parents.”
Her voice was muffled against his chest. “You’re not even sure yet.”
“I don’t need a test. I trust your gag reflex.”
She hit his chest lightly. “You’re disgusting.”
“And you love it.”
They stood there in the hallway, both a little stunned, a little scared, and a whole lot changed. The roleplay, the jokes, the chaos of the last few weeks—all of it faded into something heavier. Realer.
Leon pressed a kiss to the top of her head and whispered, “We’re gonna figure this out.”
And for once, she didn’t question him.
Because for the first time in a long time, something felt certain.
Something was coming.

Chapter Three: Breed Week
Almost a year.
That realization hit them one night while they were brushing their teeth in silence, standing side by side in the cramped bathroom like an old married couple. Same mirror. Same routine. Same toothpaste. Just two almost-thirty-year-olds with more blood on their hands than furniture in their apartment.
Leon caught her eyes in the mirror and smirked. “We’re really doin’ this domestic shit, huh?”
Noel spat, wiped her mouth, and leaned against the sink. “We’re really pushin’ thirty and got nothin’ to show for it but burner phones and trauma.”
Leon laughed, but it was short and sharp. Not the amused kind. The true kind. The fuck-she’s-right kind.
They ended up back on the couch, a half-watched Seinfeld episode playing in the background, both of them quiet in a way that felt heavier than usual. Like the weight of all the years they lost, all the lives they’d lived, was finally catching up.
Leon stared at the screen but didn’t see it. “You ever think about kids?” he blurted.
Noel blinked. “Like… children?”
“Yeah,” he said, rubbing the back of his neck. “Tiny versions of us. Little terrorists runnin’ around, askin’ questions, breakin’ shit.”
She raised a brow. “You high?”
He snorted. “Nah. Just tired of this cloak-and-dagger life. We survived the Dark Army. Barely. We’re still here. And what the hell do we have? A couch, some cereal, and a strong mutual distrust of authority.”
She didn’t respond at first.
So he kept going.
“I want something real, yo. Something that ain’t about killin’ or cover-ups. I want to leave somethin’ behind that ain’t just a trail of bodies.”
Noel looked at him, searching his face for the punchline.
He gave her one anyway.
“Besides,” he added with a smirk, “bustin’ a nut only takes, what, fifty percent of my life force? I can spare that for the cause.”
She rolled her eyes so hard he swore he heard them creak. But she laughed. For real.
“You’re an idiot.”
“Maybe. But I’d be a cute dad.”
She chewed on the idea in silence. “You’d teach a toddler how to clean a Glock.”
“And how to appreciate Seinfeld,” he countered.
Noel bit her lip, thinking. The truth was, she had thought about it—quietly, in the rare moments when her mind wasn’t in survival mode. But the idea of being someone’s mother felt… foreign. Dangerous. Could she protect a child in this world? Was she even capable of loving something that helpless without destroying it?
Still.
The look in Leon’s eyes wasn’t a joke. It wasn’t a fantasy either.
It was hope.
“Okay,” she said finally, cautious but sincere. “We try.”
Leon blinked. “For real?”
She nodded. “But only on ovulation weeks.”
He tilted his head. “…Breed Week?”
“Breed Week,” she confirmed, straight-faced.
Leon stood up dramatically, hands on his hips. “You hear that, uterus? It’s go time!”
She threw a pillow at him.
And when her next ovulation cycle rolled around, they committed.
To the bit. To the plan. To each other.
It was chaos. Passionate, sweaty, hilarious chaos. The alarms on their phones synced to her ovulation tracker. No distractions. No skipped days. Just intense, emotionally confusing, sometimes aggressively athletic sex every day of that week.
Pasta on the floor. Condoms forgotten. The couch broken once.
Noel called it a science experiment. Leon called it spiritual warfare.
By the end of the first Breed Week, they were exhausted, slightly dehydrated, and absolutely unsure if anything had “taken.”
But they also felt alive.
Not as hitmen. Not as survivors. Not even as fugitives.
Just… Leon and Noel. Two almost-thirty-year-olds trying to build something that didn’t come with instructions, orders, or bloodstains.
And for the first time, they weren’t just running from something.
They were running toward it.
--------
The first time during Breed Week was awkward as hell.
Which was wild, considering Leon and Noel had already had sex more times than either of them could count. Drunk sex, sleepy sex, post-job adrenaline sex, lazy Sunday morning sex—hell, even “we might not survive tonight” sex. They had chemistry, rhythm, a language only their bodies spoke.
But this? This was different.
This had purpose.
Leon lit candles. Candles. As if that was gonna make it sacred or some shit. He even threw on a playlist labeled “Smooth Vibes 2.0” that he definitely didn’t make for this occasion but suddenly felt extremely self-conscious about.
Noel walked out of the bathroom in nothing but a t-shirt, saw the setup, and blinked. “Are we about to smash or summon a spirit?”
Leon sat on the bed, rubbing the back of his neck. “I just figured, like… maybe set the mood, you know?”
She smirked, climbing into bed beside him. “What, you wanna make love now?”
He shot her a look. “Don’t make it weird.”
“You lit a lavender candle, Leon. We are already in weird territory.”
He opened his mouth to fire back but then just… sighed. “I’m nervous.”
That surprised her.
“Nervous?” she echoed. “Since when do you get nervous?”
“Since we decided to turn my swimmers into legacy,” he said flatly.
Noel snorted.
He looked at her seriously, voice softening. “It just hit me. This ain’t just for fun anymore. This is… a decision. A future.”
The room went quiet.
She reached for his hand. “We don’t have to do this tonight.”
“I want to.”
“Then let’s be awkward.”
So they were.
The first few minutes were full of hesitant touches, stifled laughter, too much eye contact, and one awkward bump of the forehead that almost derailed the whole thing. Leon kept overthinking his every move. Noel overcorrected with too much commentary.
“You good?”
“Yeah, I just—wait, hold up, is this a good position for optimal—”
“Stop talking ovulation logistics while I’m inside you.”
“Sorry! Sorry. I’m just trying to make sure gravity’s on our side.”
Eventually, they both stopped trying so hard and let the moment take them. The laughter faded into breathless silence, the tension melting into something familiar. Something soft. Their bodies remembered what their minds were trying to complicate.
Soon he remembered every inch of her body and how well she took him. Her moans, how soft they were but how needy she would become each time he stroked into her.. the begging, the scratching. The pure feeling of intimacy between them felt surreal.
“Harder!” Noel cried out he gripped her hair as he pushed further into her heat giving her exactly what she wanted. She loved his roughness they completely abandoned the “gentle” love making portion of the bit.. nah he was fucking her back into submission. The idea of Her the random girl he met at a corner shop that moved in that he knew NOTHING about aside from having a fucked up family trusted him to give her life, she would carry his children, create his legacy.. it drove him wild.
“Fuck..” he growled sinking his teeth into her skin gripping her neck with all the strength he had causing her to choke trying to breathe. “After this your fucking mine. I own you.” He groans releasing himself deep inside of her dropping her body onto the sheets with him following close behind both still trying to gather their thoughts.
They lay tangled in the sheets, both sweaty and slightly dazed.
“Well,” Leon said, staring at the ceiling, “if that didn’t work, I don’t know what will.”
Noel rolled onto her side, tracing his chest with a lazy finger. “Only six more days to go.”
He groaned. “You tryin’ to kill me.”
“You own me huh?” Noel smiled the most beautiful he’s ever seen
“I meant that.” He chuckles
She smirked. “Well as for me killing you? Consider it training. Parenthood ain’t for the weak.”
Leon looked at her then, really looked at her. Hair messy, lips swollen, skin glowing in the candlelight. And for all the weirdness, the awkward energy, the clinical precision of it all—he’d never felt closer to her.
“You know,” he murmured, “if it happens… I hope it’s a girl. One just like you.”
Noel raised an eyebrow. “God help the world.”
“Deadass.”
“Hey Leon?”
“Yea?”
“I guess you kinda do own me. For the next 18 years.”
“Nah..forever.”
Silence fell in the space between them as she stared into his eyes, he saw an expression he’d never seen upclose from her.. longing.
“Forever ever? Forver ever ever?”
He laughed gripping her face planting a soft kiss against her lips.
“Okay Andre, yes. Forever til we die.”
“In that case, yea..forever.”
They fell asleep like that—sore, tangled, and unsure if this wild plan of theirs would even work. But for the first time, sex wasn’t just about escape or pleasure. It was about building something.
But one thing they did know, they were stuck with each other forever.
“Happy anniversary.”
Okay but Leon from Mr robot is such an interesting character, he's so amicable and loves to joke around and doesn't seem to take things too seriously. But at the same time he's legitimately terrifying because killing people doesn't seem to have same effect on him that it does for characters like Darlene or the average person. Saying things so cold that you can feel the frigidness radiating off them in a casual tone like "Relax.. if I wanted to kill you I would've done it already." Even forgetting what to most would be a traumatic moment (even forgetting the events of the barn scene at the end of season 3) and does it all while probably quoting something from his favorite show at the time or info dumping about a new show he's been watching.
He's the true embodiment of chaotic neutral and God I love him.
Also unrelated his fashion style goes insanely hard no one but him could rock a knee length camo jacket so effortlessly. Anyway thanks for coming to my ted talk, I love Leon and I love this show so fucking much.
