Leon Zuodar je samostojni umetnik ter član tandema Beli sladoled. Slikarski tandem Beli sladoled je z Miho Pernetom uradno ustanovil leta 2005, neuradno pa sta sodelovala že v akademskih letih. Leta 2011 sta za svoje delo prejela nagrado OHO.

I think I heard this cut from DJ Koze's new record at tonights opening of the Leon Zuodar  exhibition at Neuwerk in Konstanz tonight. It's a great version of Kings of Convenience's Homesick. It's a great tune to fashionably stand in a open space, sip a beer and look at art to. But also works well in the comfort of your own home. Like every great song does. 

The exhibition was great, too. People in Konstanz can catch it for another week, until Friday 12.04., daily from 6.30 pm.

Leon Zuodar

My dear friends Katja and Piper are into the exhibition-biz again. After last year's show with Fernando Elvira, they invited Leon Zuodar, an artist from Ljubljana/Slovenia (which is - by the way - on a high rank on my personal "cities I want to see in the near future-list").

I really liked Leon's design for the exhibition flyer (click) and though I don't know him or his work at all, I think that I like his attitude towards things (life, art, capitalism). Katja & Piper invited me to play some music at the exhibition opening and I'm really looking forward to (because being a DJ for occasions of art is my favorite hobby these days). I intend to play some nice electronica, a little bit of country and hysterical punkrock-songs. And - of course - music by the wonderful Rae Spoon, my current love-affair.
