"I love you, you stupid kid. Somebody had to"
From The Incredible Hulk #227 (1978) & Immortal Hulk #13 (2019)
((Practicing drawing Len, Betty, Bruce and Hulk. I want Leonard to have a certain "Mom's boyfriend with a ponytail" vibe to him. Betty is Jennifer Connelly based with green eyes.
Hulk is sort of obviously child-like in mannerisms to anyone paying attention, but resents being treated like one sometimes (much like real kids) . In my canon he can speak pretty fluently as in EMH but reverts more to simple speak when especially emotional. Most of the time he prefers not to speak at all which makes him more intimidating to strangers.
The gray Hulk present in the immediate aftermath of the Gamma Incident was actually a blend of Hulk and Joe, who did before exist separately and do after as well but any time 'Gray Hulk' exists it's due to both Joe and Hulk fronting either blended or simply together. ))

when wanda finally gets her body back and she goes from sasquatch to just her regular human body and she's like a year into transitioning and she's like wtf did you do Samson and hes like oh yeah so i was reading your medical records and figured you were transgender so i decided to start hrt for you you're welcome
I've seen these pages before, but seeing it in context is staggering. Bruce had been losing it across these issues since he's with Betty, barely sleeping, losing his temper more often. He yells at people, even Betty, when he's not getting his way, he's basically had enough. Just earlier in this issue (#176), Bruce was laughing maniacally at the thought he could get rid of the Hulks. Admittedly it's understandable given what he's been through, but there was a strain forming within Bruce that's been more intense since letting Savage out. Lo and behold, he's collapsing under the pressure.
An intervention is necessary before the conflict within Bruce gets him killed. We're beginning the "merge" storyline.
An offering for the doc Samson fans
