change in plans for 'she's alive!' y'all, since it's halloweekend, this gives me wiggle room!! i was 3/4 done writing chapter 3 when i reread what i got so far and realized its gonna be a fucking doozy posted as the initial way with everything lumped together in one chapter, so im gonna split it into two chapters bc it just makes sense, trust me, so many things happen in chapter 3 it'd read so weirdly if it was all together. also it prevents me from burning out from writing 5k+ word chapters in half a day consecutively lmaoo

so instead of four chapters, 'she's alive!' will have five, and each chapter until we reach the end will be published over the course of halloweekend, since technically ppl are celebrating halloween events during the weekend too (i know i am haha), so it's still halloweeny.

(im also planning on posting a separate chapter as an alternate ending for the fic, too, as a bonus, so that, if i ever feel like pursuing this idea further, i can pick it back up from the alternate ending, and make like a sequel! :D)

Give me Duncan x Harold, where Duncan has a steamy love affair with Harold behind Courtney’s back and still wedgies and punches Harold in public to not make things suspicious.

I raise you one “Alejandro x Owen”, where Owen continually tries to impress his one true love, but it’s never enough because he keeps calling him “Al”, so Alejandro just beats the crap out of Owen relentlessly and reminisces about his relationship with Izzy–who was equally physically aggressive but did it with a smile on her face, at least.

How about some Scike? In which Scott blackmails Mike into staying with him by lording his DID secret over his head, along with the fact that he secretly uses the exact same spray-tan as Anne Maria. And in turn, whenever Vito or Manitoba front, they aggressively flirt with a severely uncomfortable Scott in their respective New-Jersey and Australian accents.

Or maybe Dave x Leonard is more your style? Dave can emotionally abuse Leonard by continually discouraging, disparaging, demeaning, and diminishing Leonard’s LARPing and wizardry with sarcastic insults, and Leonard can physically abuse Dave by wacking him over the head with his wand whenever he does so? They both hate each other, but as the only two queer boys on that fake Cree island, they’re all the other has.
