People that ship Leon with Ada or Claire created the "Leon and Grace have a family-coded dynamic. Stop shipping them" empty narrative because they're threatened by their romantic chemistry. There is nothing inherently wrong or problematic about shipping them.
The gaslighting only exist to push us away from a peak ship but it won't stop me! Let me clarify that I don't have a problem with anybody NOT shipping LeonxGrace. I have a problem with antis deliberately attacking and shaming those that do ship it. Like what's the purpose? None. It's just pointless negativity over a FICTIONAL ship between 2 legal consenting adults. I was never ashamed of shipping anything taboo or proshippy. Why tf am I going to be ashamed over something virtually harmless? It's stupid and a waste of time. People aren't magically going to stop being so passionate about something they put effort into just because 1 person cried "YOU GUYS ARE TERRIBLE FOR SHIPPING THAT! PLEASE STOP!" I wish people would give this same effort and attention to shit in their life that actually deserves it. Leave Kennecroft shippers alone. Focus on your own ships and be happy there if you can't have an appropriate conversation while respectfully disagreeing. We wouldn't have to make all these posts criticizing the haters that condemn the ship if they took a second to think, check and understand their invalid reasons have no foundation to them.
