Random Leonard McCoy Headcannons.
- Adores Hot chocolate. Will drink it whenever and wherever he can. If gifted with hot chocolate he will absolutly hug you.
-loves watching Spock and Jim play chess. Doesn't like the game himself, but enjoys seeing them play and listening to the conversations they have.
- Will absolutly bake whenever he has a chance. Almost always begs Nyota to bake with him because it's something they enjoy doing together. Also is very careful about allergies. Has none chocolate treats for spock, as well as sugar free, gluten free, but free and any other major allergies that he needs to worry about (he is a doctor damn it, he will not be the cause of someone getting sick)
- hates deep fried food. Not only is it unhealthy, there is no actual flavour and it just sucks. Prefers his food steamed or fried, and actually loves vegetarian dishes that spock makes and shares with him.
- forgets to eat because his body doesnt always succeed in telling him he is hungry until it's too late and he feels nausious and dizzy.
- loves to take joanna camping. It's a nice get away and it's her favorite activity with him. Plus they both LOVE hot chocolate while camping. There is nothing better.
- Helps Joanna with her science homework ever week. He knows she's only asking questions to get his opinion or medical knowledge, and she knows everything herself (she doesnt have straight a's for nothing) but he loves how she smiles when a question leads to him telling her a story about a patient or friend on the ship.
-leaves gifts for all of his friends on their birthday, Speciificlly made for them. Nyota gets home made chocolates with a pretty new piece of jewelry (usually earrings.). Jim almost always gets some of his favorite black licorish tea and a new book to read. Spock definitely gets something less material. Leonard specifically likes to find old puzzles (human, vulcan, andorian, and that one time he even got a Klingon puzzle after having a verbal show down with Kor (who hates the enterprise crew but also kind of likes them because gdi they're annoying but they're nice). Whenever spock finally finishes the puzzle, he gives it back to leonard completed and tells him he looks forward to the next one (which he does)
-keeps all the puzzles spock completes in a drawer because sometimes he needs a reminder that his friends do appreciate him. Other things in said drawer include Jim's favorite book (which he gave to leonard after they graduated), all the jewelry his friends have given him, and a box of notes and letters from all of them.
- will absolutly end you if you insult his friends, Starfleet officer or not. There are ensign's with horror stories because they or a friend insulted kirk or spock or one time even christine and nyota (he's willing to accept criticism of Jim and spock, but nyota and christine are perfect and he'll destroy you)
- absolutly got into a fist fight with a Klingon once for insulting jim. Ended up in the hospital cuz he's a doctor, not a Klingon warrior XD
-100% met julian Bashir and for the first time ever feels like the future of medicine might be in good hands.
