Jame and Leonora are brother and sister, and get forced into an incestuous marriage for weird fucked up cult family reasons. Leonora hates everything to do with this. Jame is a freak who absolutely intends for this union to produce an heir, and Leonora, for all that she's still an Eagan and not perfect, DOES NOT want to bring a child into the world who is a product of incest. So she finds a man who is a decent enough match for Jame and willing to be a sperm donor, and conceives a child that she tells Jame is his.
Helena Eagan? Not Jame's daughter. That's his fucking niece.
He's been going around fucking other women for YEARS meanwhile his sister who he married and then had killed left him with a baby that's not even his and he has NO IDEA.
