A/n: With the release of the new LI, Valko the Wolf, in Love and Deepspace, I decided to give up on Werewolf!Caleb (he is still a pupper in my heart <( •̀ ⤙ •́ )> ) and instead focus on Leopard Caleb things based on random leopard facts and of course Caleb things~ I’ll probably do one for Valko once they show his personality more (I have a fondness for dog-like men).

1. Leopards can carry prey twice their body weight up into trees.
Leopard Caleb has a penchant for carrying you whenever and wherever you both went, because there is nothing worthy enough for you to step on… except him. With his Gravity Evol, he can keep you out of harm’s way while he’s hunting too!
2. A black panther isn’t a separate species.
When Leopard Caleb is in Colonel mode, he does become a black panther in order to hide in the shadows and perform his job as a cold-blooded killer. When Leopard Caleb is in normal mode, he sports a speckled pattern. Is this scientifically possible? No, but it doesn’t matter because he’s still your Leopard Caleb no matter what he looks like, right? Right?
3. Leopards are the most widely distributed large feline and can be found in 63 countries.
Leopard Caleb may be sweet and cuddly to you, but behind the scenes or whenever you’re apart for some reason, he has cameras all over the world just so he can watch over you. For safety, of course. So what if you’re a really strong Deepspace Hunter? He can’t have you being near bunnies, panthers, fish, lizards, wolves— Actually, can’t you just stay by his side?
4. A leopard in South Africa was filmed free-falling from a tree, from a height of nine metres, to catch prey on the ground.
Leopard Caleb did not develop his prowess from being on the safe side. No, no, no. He doesn’t care what lengths he has to go through, even if it means destroying himself. He is willing to do anything and everything to make sure you’re safe and sound.
5. Leopards are highly adaptable.
Leopard Caleb desires to become anything you need and want, whether it be a brother, lover, friend, soulmate, enemy— anything. Just please let him stay by your side.
6. Leopards are solitary cats and are mainly nocturnal.
Leopard Caleb makes friends when he has to or because of his natural charm (aka Gideon), but he doesn’t really care about anything except when it comes to you. Since he has to sometimes go away from you to work hard and bring home money, don’t be surprised to wake up to see him staring at you. He’s had a long day and you’re his only salvation.
7. A leopard’s spots are actually called ‘rosettes’.
Roses are commonly red, violet is the color of his eyes— Leopard Caleb is here, so stop looking at other guys!
8. A female leopard typically gives birth to two-four cubs but, on rare instances, up to six cubs can be born.
You may not be a leopard like Leopard Caleb, but is that going to stop him from taking you as his mate? Obviously, not. And if you don’t want any cubs, that’s fine too. All he needs is you anyway.
9. When hunting, the tip of a leopard’s tail may twitch.
You can easily tell what Leopard Caleb is feeling by the twitching of the tip of his tail. When he’s happy, twitch. When he’s sad, twitch. When he’s angry, twitch. When he’s excited, twitch. When he’s “excited”… a lot of things are twitching… Be careful.
10. Leopards have been known to live on the edge of big cities like Mumbai, India and Nairobi, Kenya.

11. Leopards are carnivores and have been known to eat more than 90 different species of prey.
Leopard Caleb only hunts for two reasons. The first is to eliminate any threats to your and his peace together. Considering his strength, there are hardly any threats that can withstand his power. The second is when his prey is you, and you’re definitely his favorite prey. :3
12. Leopards have a range of vocalisations.
… Leopard Caleb is very vocal. About anything and in every situation. Enough said.
13. Leopards have been found living at altitudes of 5,200 metres in the Himalayas.
Leopard Caleb has lived in Skyhaven for a while. He’s used to the height. Now it is only a matter of keeping you up here with him.
14. Snow leopards and leopards are from the same genus (Panthera) but are different species.
Leopard Caleb and Snow Leopard Zayne are both leopards, but they are completely different. And just because they’re both fluffy doesn’t mean you have to pet Snow Leopard Zayne. Quick! You have to disinfect your hands! You’re only allowed to pet Leopard Caleb, or else he’ll... he'll... Well, he doesn't know exactly what he'll do, but he could cry!
15. Leopards originated in Africa.
All humans supposedly originated from Africa, but Leopard Caleb swears that you and him come from the same source and therefore it is vital to stay together for the sake of your species. What? He’s a leopard and you’re a human? Bah, that’s just technicalities. You should trust his words more, not the lying words of other humans.
16. Leopards have five toes on their front paws but only four toes on the back!
Just because Leopard Caleb lost one of his arms and got it replaced with a robotic one, doesn’t mean he’s forgotten how to hold you.
17. A leopard’s home range size can be as large as 174 square miles (451km2)!

19. Lions, tigers and hyenas will sometimes steal food from leopards after they have made a kill.

20. There are nine subspecies of leopard.
