Letter for one Joseph Rinaldi

I’d have put in some bullet casings and small used cocaine baggies to remind you of home, but evidently that’s illegal in Vegas (I’m rather surprised any laws exist here). In any case, I promised you information, so here it is. Can’t promise all the info is unique, considering you have kids visiting, but this is all I’ve got. Do what thou wilt.

To start off, as you may or may not have heard from your other children, Joseph Jr. (thanks for mentioning he existed; I extended the courtesy of assuming he went under the “children to keep an eye on” part of the deal, however) was baptized this past evening. He’s very cute. Since they’re not yours, I’m assuming his eyes are his mother’s. I do believe he has your nose though. One of his many mothers, Vivienne James, is very overprotective of him, so at the very least, you know he’s in the hands of people who care. Unfortunately for them, Lorenzo filed for custody of the baby. I’ll be assuming you want your kid as far away from Lorenzo as possible, so I’ll see what I can do — but no promises on that front. Lorenzo’s probably threatened his attorney with the worst possible death, and we all know how encouraging those are.

In any case, Joseph Jr. was officially baptized as Joseph Rinaldi. Congratulations are in order, I suppose. I got a picture of it for your leisure enclosed, if you’d like to see it (I also tried to get a few pictures of the baby up close while I was holding him. Unfortunately, Vivienne was very much against the flash photography in the exhibit. Most of the images are blurry and such. Not worth the time). But, again, Lorenzo is determined the legitimacy of the baptism doesn’t stick.

And it seems about half of your children want to kill your son, including but not limited to Alessandra and Natalia, and perhaps Stefan, although I don’t think he feels nearly as strongly as Alessandra and Natalia do. Not much word from Dominic and Katerina, as far as I could tell. Nicolas seems to be the only one that actually doesn’t completely mind the baby.

Except, apparently, Lorenzo.

In terms of more professional events, your coffee business went down. All of the cargo and contents inside were burned to ashes. Still looking into the culprit. Not quite sure if it was one of the Rossi women, but one of them did show up later than the other three at the church.

Yes, for some reason the entirety of Vegas heard about this baptism. Apparently discretion does not run in the Mitchell family. How unfortunate for you.

Lorenzo is attempting to salvage the remains, although to be frank it doesn’t look promising. Your inventory has plummeted, a significant portion of your work force either dead or injured (or refusing to come back in to work), and you have lots of buyers and distributors who’re wanting to pull out, now.

Now, one of your kids has been hurt, but I will also defend myself in saying I really couldn’t have done anything in the situation. Stefan and one of the Rossi women, Genevieve, were having a conversation until Stefan shot her (I’m going to assume the conversation was less than cordial). In apparent retaliation, Dominic (Rinaldi. I hope that clears up any confusion) pulled out his gun not two seconds later and shot Alessandra. Alessandra’s still in the ICU, undergoing surgery. The doctor’s have stopped coming out because Stefan doesn’t like what they’ve been saying, so I’ll surmise any news they’d have to tell at this point won’t be good. I’ll update you when we know Alessandra’s status for sure.

Still digging around for Alexander evidence; nothing has come up that isn’t already known. I’ll keep working on it.
