Le Paige Log 4,2,2012: April is Here!
This is Adrian from the band Le Paige. Some of you might recognize me from running the Twitter and from several YouTube videos with Beau.
(Btw, we now have a questionnaire form on the main menu. Feel free to ask any of us questions. Just leave your name, location, and the band member you want to talk to!)
I'm gonna do something different here, and treat this post as more of a blog entry than just a promo blast. Hopefully... you guys enjoy reading my thoughts scribbled onto this blog :)
What have we been doing as a band lately?
I have to say, this is probably the most fun venue we have played so far. We got this gig through our friends in The Mowgli's. (Some of you might have seen them on my Spotify playlist). That night, we made a ton of new friends and got to dance in the club while the Rhythm Twins DJ'd. Quite awesome, indeed!
Well we had to say goodbye our dear friend Ben Hinkeldey as he went back home to Germany. On Friday we had a small party at his house, one I shall never forget. Even though there were only 5 of us there (Kevin was in Maryland at the time) we managed to have a blast.
In Ben's house was a large box shaped like a rectangular prism. Somehow in that night we got the amazing idea to cut out a slit for eyes and 2 holes for the arms and stuff a guy in there. Stepping up to the plate was drummer, Luke Denney.
You might be able to see a video of Boxy on my personal Facebook. Though after watching it you will probably see us as a bunch of idiots, but hey, we're a group of teenage boys with wild ideas.
Le Paige is back in the writing room, getting out new songs for our loving fans, and just cause we love writing :)
We've got a LOT of potential songs in our notebook of tunes, but we're still deciding on the best ones to play live. We have played a new song that you'll definitely hear in the future called "The Summer Song"
If any of you got to catch us at our Long Beach Acoustic Menagerie, you probably heard this happy tune. It's something different from us, but from what we saw at the show, looks like you guys enjoyed it!
The Next Show
It's been a while since we played in Hollywood, so we decided to play for our LA crowd on 4/20!
On Friday 4/20, Le Paige will be playing AmplyFi! Our set time is at 10:00PM, and tickets will be $10 from any band member and $12 at the door.
For this set, we'll be debuting a new song. If any of you guys missed us at Long Beach, you'll be able to hear "The Summer Song" at this gig! So contact any one of us and we'd be glad to hook you up with tickets!
RSVP at the Facebook Event!
Thanks!
