Epic Tickle HCs!

Here are a bunch of epic tkl HCs that literally no one asked for, but I just have so many LMAOO

… I’m serious there are a lot more than I thought …

Anywho let’s get to it!

Odysseus has a ridiculously ticklish back, but only certain people know (Polites, Penelope, Athena and Eurylochus)

Instead of tickle monster Polites says “I am the God of tickles!” And everyone just thinks it’s dumb /pos instead of it actually making them flustered

Polites and Ody got into a lot of tkl fights when they were younger

It used to be one sided (Polites constantly winning against Ody) but one day, Ody thought of a whole strategy to take Polites down (maybe even asked Athena for help) and it worked

The tkl fights between those two were never one sided again after that lol

Ody gets super flustered and embarrassed, but he never stops digging his own grave by constantly teasing his ler with witty comments (maybe he does it on purpose WHATWHOSAIDTHAT)

Hermes is the BIGGEST switch known to mankind, along with Polites

Hermes and Apollo get into a lot of tickle fights (almost like how Polites and Ody did), and love to bring other people into them

“Ahahahahathehehena! Hehehelp me gehehet Hehehermehehes!” “Um… I’m good…” “oh, come on, Athena! Try and get me! Betcha you can’t~” “oh my goodness- FINE.”

(Athena is really often the one who ends up getting caught in it all)

Athena never loses tickle fights

No matter if she gets gained up on or if it’s one-on-one, she always somehow manages to come out on top

(That’s the main reason Hermes and Apollo call on her the most WHATTTTT)

Going back to Hermes, his wings are EXTREMELY sensitive, probably his most ticklish spot

I’ll talk for days about how much Hermes enjoys being tkled and tkling other people (cough cough Apollo) (not like he dislikes it either tho)

That brings us to where I think the characters are the most ticklish!

Odysseus: thighs (we all agree on this LMAOO), back, ribs (back of ribs are KILLER)

Polites: Stomach, knees, hips, ribs

Eurylochus: Ribs, underarms, sides

Hermes: wings, knees, underarms, neck

Athena: ribs, back/wings, stomach

Telemachus: hips, thighs, ribs, knees

Penelope: Sides, neck/ears, knees

Apollo: knees, neck, sides, stomach

That’s about all the characters I write for LMAOO (don’t ask why it’s all the main characters… and Apollo, bc idk I just really liked him…)

I really need to talk abt Telemachus because OH BOY HES SO ALSNEOEKKSKE /pos

He liked being tickled until one of the Suitors found out he was ticklish, and now he’s just like extremely embarrassed by it and sees himself as pathetic for having an odd weakness

But slowly, after Athena takes him under her wing (literally and metaphorically) she starts doing her “stamina exercises” she used to do with Odysseus, and she calls him out that he seems to be enjoying himself (I WILL G L A D L Y WRITE A FIC ABT THIS BTW)

Once Odysseus gets back to Ithaca, he slowly starts warming back up to his son, and that eventually leads to tickle fights

In Ody’s mind, Telemachus is still little, so he always uses “the tickle monster” tease and Telem thinks it’s so embarrassing (but not necessarily bad)

Now I wanna go back to Hermes bc this man is SO SILLY

He is constantly paying little visits to Odysseus and his crew and just messing with everyone

One time he visited the crew and he just kept on tickling everyone else but not Odysseus, and eventually everyone was like “Ody, man, you need to talk to him” and their “talk” ends up being Hermes wrecking his ass /silly

Athena taught Ody how to fight back though because she has experience from Hermes, so Odysseus know how to flip the tables on the God if nessesary

Whoever on the crew tickles Odysseus, he will waste NO TIME in getting them back, he won’t even wait for them to be in private

He says that he “needs to set an example”

It’s mainly Polites who dares to tickle him in front of the crew

About Polites, I’m a firm believer that his main love language is physical touch and friendly banter, which makes tickle fights between him and Odysseus (who is famously witty and known for digging his own grave) extremely entertaining to watch

Polites won’t confirm or deny if he likes being tickled, but he just gets so embarrassed when someone asks that he just can’t stop giggling (so it’s obvious that he does)

Eurylochus, Apollo, and Polites are the only people who get flustered by the word “tickle” (for Polites and Apollo it’s only in the context of someone teasing him by saying it, for Eury he just gets so awkward if it’s bought up)

You can’t really tell if Eurylochus likes it, he's almost never on the receiving end, and whoever tries is only really able to get one or two pokes in before he brings their hands away

I’m reality, Eury doesn’t like HATE it, but he’d much rather be on the giving side because he just finds it so embarrassing (/neg) when people tickle him

This goes without saying, but Odysseus is like a master teaser

That’s partly because of all the tickle fights he had when he was younger (thank you Polites) so he just knows what gets to people all. the. damn. time.

Ody will deny he giggles until the day he dies

Herme’s favourite tease is saying “tickle” over and over again

Everyone teases that Hermes should be the God of tickles because of how often he messes with people using tickles, but he’s not embarrassed in the slightest at that tease

Speaking of, Hermes is really hard to tease because he literally is so open about liking it, and takes everything that you would think embarrassing as a compliment

While on the ship, Odysseus threw his back out trying to move their food supply, and Eury offered a back massage, and that’s when he found out how ticklish Ody’s back is LMAOO

Hermes eventually finds out, but it takes him a while, and when he does he teases Ody about how he’s been hiding such valuable information for such a long time

Polites always drags his finger down Odyseus’ spine in passing

Omg I can make a whole post abt Odysseus having a ticklish back you don’t understand how cannon this is for me

Athena tries to tease Hermes about how Odysseus constantly gets him back and that because Hermes is a God he should just be able to get out, but Hermes just giggles and goes “That’s because I like it, darling, and I wanted him to feel strong for defeating me in a battle” like he is SO UNBOTHERED

Eurylochus has been able to get Polites and Odysseus at the same time and he will never shut up about it

He also does it a lot more than you would think, like it’s so easy for him to tickle both of them and they don’t know how he does it

Eurylochus only doesn’t mind it if it’s with Poli or Ody, so he doesn’t get mad when they team up and get him (he admits that he deserves it LMAOO)

Penelope tickles Odysseus when he returns because she misses his laugh

Tickling became such a big this with Polites that now whenever Odysseus even sees someone getting tickled it reminds him of Poli (/pos I promise he like smiles)

Odysseus doesn’t usually play dumb while tickling people, he likes to show them that he knows how to get to them

That being said, he knows that Polites gets EXTREMELY flustered when people tease him by playing dumb, so he makes an acception for him

“Aww! What’s wrong, Polites? Is this a bad spot or something?” “SHUHUHUT UHUP YOHOHOU KNOHOHOHOHOW IHIHIHIT IHIHIHIHIHIS” “Yeahh but your face gets all red when I remind you, it’s so cute” “HOHOHOLY SHIHIHIT- I SAHAHAHAID SHUHUHUT IT”

Polites has literally the cutest giggles, they’re like squeaky and hiccupy, and he always goes “ehehehahaha!” Iykwim

Odysseus laughs with a lot of big gasps in between them, and if you get him for long they slowly turn squeaky and into snorts

Eurylicus has these like boomy laughter, and rarely giggles like the other two, they’re just loud and deep chuckles kinda

Sometimes if anyone gets the three of them them all together (i.e. Athena or Hermes, or honestly maybe a few crew members) a common tease is that they sound like they’re trying to harmonize their laughter

Hermes has the most high pitch laughter, but he doesn’t make any other notable sounds, mostly just giggles or hysterical cackles if you hit a good spot

Athena has the most majestic laughter literally ever, like they sound so… pretty in a way? No one really knows how, but that’s the main reason she would get tickled (again mainly by Hermes’ and Apollo, but sometimes other gods or even Odysseus)

Similarly, Penelope has very cute but also majestic giggles, and Odysseus says it’s his favourite feature of her, on top of her beauty, wits, Humor, etc etc.

Telemachus has his fathers laugh, and that’s why Penelope loves it so much, however he has picked up his giggles from his mother, they’re very cute

Apollo’s laugh is kinda generic, they’re very stereotypically “hahahaha!” (Idk how to describe it LMAOO) but they are SOOO bright and happy literally everytime

Also Polites swears the most out of all of them when he’s being tickled, and everyone is always shocked

If I say anymore I don’t think I would be able to stop LMAOO I hope you all enjoyed <3

Summary: Hermes pulls a prank on his siblings, and then tries to ask for tickles, but none of them agree.

A/N: I liked this idea, and thought it would be a great expression of how shameless of a lee Hermes is. Also an excuse to write sibling dynamics <3 don’t question why Hermes only chose to ask the people he pranked rather than the other gods on Olympus I don’t feel like thinking of a reason. Anyway, ENJOY! :3

Cw: mild swearing! Very basic binds! (Just hands tied together. Entirely platonic.) also pretty intense tickles, but once again he enjoys every second of it.

P.S: this is a long one! Buckle up, and grab a snack!

Unconventional retribution

Hermes was causing chaos. Again.

He was bored, and felt like pulling a bit of a prank. So, he waited until all his siblings, (and by all, he means a few. He has hundreds of siblings- ahem- Zeus.) were together, and-

He dropped a giant water balloon on their heads.

He was rewarded with gasps and scoffs and other various noises of annoyance and shock.

“Ugh! Hermes!” Athena stood, glaring at him. Apollo blew his dripping hair out of his face, trying to dry himself off.

“Ahahahaha- you guys should see your faces! Ahahahaha!” He laughs at their expense, earning glares from all of them.

“Oh, you’re gonna pay for that.” Ares growled, but before he could go after the messenger, he was stopped by a calm yet firm grip on his shoulder.

“Don’t chase him, Ares. You won’t catch him.” Apollo whispered. “I have a better idea.”

Hermes didn’t bother listening in on their conversation, he was far too busy giggling to himself over the fairly simple prank. Apollo gathered them together, planning revenge.

“What’s your idea, Apollo?” Athena asked, already trying to mentally piece together what he could possibly be thinking of.

“When he asks us to tickle him, we simply won’t.”

Ares groaned. “Ugh! I don’t want to wait for him to decide to ask us for something!”

Athena chimed up again. “Yeah, how do we even make sure he asks us? What if he doesn’t?”

“Oh trust me, he will.” Apollo paused for dramatic effect. “We’re gonna put him in a lee mood.”

Artemis raised an eyebrow and spoke for the first time this whole conversation. “And how exactly do you plan to do that?”

“Just follow my lead.”

He turned to project his voice towards the still giggling Hermes.

“Hey Hermes!”

Hermes paused his giggling, flying down to the group.“Yes, dear brother~?”

“That was a good prank! You really got us good, you little shit.” He punctuated his statement with a poke to the side, making Hermes flinch and smile as he expected Apollo to continue. But.. he didn’t. Hermes tried to act like it didn’t bother him, completely unaware that it was intentional.

“Ahahaha, thank you! Sometimes less is more, Y’know?”

“I couldn’t agree more, certainly tickled my fancy.” Apollo spoke smugly, and around him, his siblings started to realize what he was doing.

Hermes felt more giddy butterflies bubbling up at the words, his smile widening. He could just feel the impending wrecking that was radiating from his siblings, and it was making him excited. He could feel the beginnings of a lee mood sparkling in his chest.

“See ya round, Hermes.” The group departed, the idea of their revenge planted.

As the day went on, the four continued to tease him. Sometimes subtly, sometimes.. not so subtly. (‘Don’t worry, I’ll make you laugh so hard you forget your own name’, Ares had said at some point. That one sent the butterflies reeling.) it was driving him up the wall.

Hermes was in a full-blown Lee mood. He was giddy and giggly and excited, constantly thinking about laughter and squirming and tingles. He knew he needed to ask someone, and he wasn’t ashamed to do so. So first, he asked Athena.

“Atheeeennaaaaaa” He dramatically flopped himself across her lap, a hand to his forehead in a ‘woe is me’ pose.

The goddess rolled her eyes in response,pushing him off of her(to which he just flew a few inches back). “Yes, Hermes?”

“Will you tickle me?”

Athena raised an eyebrow. ‘Wow, Apollo’s idea really worked.’ “No.”

“Pretty pleeeease? With a cherry on top?”

“No.” She repeated, keeping her answers curt.

“Why noooooot?”

“With that prank you pulled earlier? You don’t deserve tickles.”

“Ugh. Boo, you’re no fun. I’ll just go ask someone else.”

Athena smirked as he flew away, chuckling to herself. “Good luck with that, Hermes.”

The next sibling he attempted to ask was Ares. He was usually pretty ruthless, which is exactly what he wanted right now.

“Hey Ares!”

Ares jolted and tried to act like he wasn’t startled. “Ugh, what do you want, Hermes.” He said it more like an aggravated statement than a question.

“Will you tickle me? Please?”

“Ugh, no.”

Hermes sighed. “Why not?!”

“I’m busy.”

“No you aren’t!” Hermes challenged, gesturing at the fact that Ares was literally just sitting there.

Ares smirked, enjoying the banter. “Yes I am, what are you talking about?”

“Uuuuughhhhhh fine! I’ll go ask Artemis!”

Ares smirked. This is fun to see.

“Hello Hermes.” Artemis didn’t even look up from waxing her bow to speak to him. “What do you need?”

“Gimme tickles! Pretty please!”

Artemis rolled her eyes and didn’t respond, which prompted a dramatic whine and pokes from the messenger. “Artemiiiiis. Don’t ignore meeeeeee”

“Go away. The answer is no.”

Hermes huffs, pouting slightly. At least there’s one more person to ask. “Hmph, whatever.”

He flew over to Apollo. “Heyyy Mr.sunshine!”

“Ah, Hermes. What can I do you for?”

“Will you pretty please tickle me?”

“Hmmm.. no.”

Hermes groaned loudly. “What is up with you guys!”

Apollo raised an eyebrow. “Whatever do you mean?”

“I’ve asked all four of you, and all of you said no!”

At this, the other three emerged from hiding in the same clearing where this whole thing started. Apollo spoke up, acting as the leader for this plan since he came up with it.

“That would be my idea, brother.”

“What?”

“After your little prank earlier, we decided to get revenge.. unconventionally. So, we aren’t going to tickle you. That is, until you apologize.”

Hermes groaned, pouting. “ughhhhh, I’m sorry, okay?! I’m sorry I dropped a water balloon on your heads. Now will you pretty please tickle me?”

Apollo chuckled. “Alright, fine. I’ll accept your apology. C’mere. Let’s get that pout off your face, hmm~?”

Hermes happily did so, and all four of the group circled him. Now that he was actually getting what he wanted, the pout completely disappeared, leaving a giddy smile in its place. It definitely didn’t help that Artemis used some of her hunters rope to keep his hands up while still allowing her hands to be free. Hermes was now downright giddy.

“And five, four, three-” Apollo drawled each word, to add to the growing anticipation he could see all over Hermes’ face.

“Dohohont cohount!” Hermes half-whined, but the anticipatory giggles littering the words definitely muddled the seriousness.

“Hey! Don’t interrupt me! Now I gotta start again! Five~ four~”

The other three joined in on the last three, adding to the playful energy. “Three, two-“ there was a pause, it probably only lasted a second, but to Hermes it felt like eternity.

“ONE!”

All at once, his nerves exploded with ticklish sensations, causing him to burst into giggles and gasps of laughter.

“Eeeehahahahaha!”

“Aww, such cute giggles~” Apollo teased, a singing lilt to his voice.

Hermes blushed at the teasing- he might not get embarrassed, but he sure did get flustered, and it just made it all the better.

There were electric sensations all across his skin- his belly, his sides and ribs, his neck, his back- he couldn’t focus on one feeling. Joyful, bubbly giggles spilled from his lips endlessly, his wide smile showcasing just how much fun he was having.

“Ahahahahaha-! Tihihihickles!”

“That’s the point, silly. Isn’t that what you wanted?” Athena smirked and raised an eyebrow.

Hermes nodded in response, the sensation being absolutely unbearable yet addicting at the same time. “Ehehehehe yehehehehes! Ahahahahaha-!”

“Is it too much? Hmm?” Artemis spoke, her usually quiet nature making it all the more flustering.

“Yehehehehehes! Ehehehehe!”

“But you love it, don’t ya, feathers?” Ares snarked in his gravelly voice.

“Yehehehehehes! Ihihits sohoho tihihickly! Ehehehehehe-!”

“I’m glad. You know, maybe these wings deserve some attention, yeah?” Apollo suggested, looking to his siblings. The other’s nodded, and Hermes protested through a giddy nervousness. “Nohohoho! Nohohot thehehere!”

“Why not~?” The sun god sang “don’t you love it there?”

Hermes didn’t know how to respond. He did, but it was also just so ticklish! He couldn’t stand it! “Ihihi-! Yehehehes, buhuhut-!”

“Sorry, I can’t hear you over your giggles!” Ares spoke, and then all four of them started to target his wings. Apollo got the ones behind his ears, Ares got the ones at his left ankle and Athena got the ones at his right ankle. (Artemis took up the task of holding him still. He was definitely gonna squirm.)

Hermes lost it. A joyful squeal ripped from him, followed by loud peals of laughter. He tried in vain to squirm, to flap his wings away, but he just couldn’t. He was in stitches, and happy tears formed in his eyes.

“Ahahahahahaha-! Nohohot thehehere- EEEE!”

“Aww, what’s wrong? The little messenger can’t take it?” Apollo cooed, taking each of his ear wings in his hands and scribbling and rubbing against them.

“Nohohoho-! Ihihi- ahahahahahaha!”

Hermes was breathless, in ticklish agony, and he loved it so much. The blissful torture was exactly what he wanted, his sides starting to hurt from how hard he’s laughing.

Then Artemis, still holding him down, started to add raspberries on his tummy, and he just broke. Endless, loud and giddy laughter echoed from his chest, his face dampened from tears, cheeks sore from smiling and sides aching from the workout. As much as he loved the feeling, he was starting to reach his limit, so as best as he could through his peals of laughter, he called, “OHOHOKAY- ST-AHA- STOHOHOP!”

Knowing that Hermes wasn’t one to protest unless he meant it, his siblings immediately took the cue and stopped. Artemis took off the rope from his hands and started to soothingly pet his wings to get rid of the lingering tingles, while Athena went to go get him some water.

“Are you alright?” Apollo asked softly.

“Y-yeheah.. ehehe.. thahat was ahawesome.. you Guhuys are the best..” he was loopy from giggles, and his true thoughts just spilled out, earning a collective ‘awwwww!’ From everyone, even Athena who was lucky enough to return just as he said it.

“Here you go, brother. Drink up. Make sure to go slow.”

Hermes nodded and gratefully took the water, taking a gentle sip to soothe his lungs and throat- ice cold. Perfect.

“Thahanks, Guhuys.. ihi lohove you.”

“We love you too, Hermes.”

And they spent the rest of the day talking and enjoying their time together.

I'm bored and unmotivated, so I'm just gonna drop some Epic the Musical tkl prompts for fics/art, feel free to use them (with or without credit, idm)

1. Lee!Hermes, ler!Apollo: Both of them are having an argument, which happens frequently, and just as Hermes is winning, he somehow accidentally reminds Apollo of the time when Hermes stole his cattle as a baby. Apollo then uses that reminder to finally dish up some revenge for it.

2. Did this in an earlier post, but lee!Zeus, ler!clouds(?): In Neal Illustrator's 'God Games' animatic, the opening scene for Zeus shows him surrounded by cloud women. This triggered an idea, what if, on a random day, Zeus is doing exactly the same thing, but one of the other gods (maybe Hera or Hermes) is feeling cheeky, and discreetly commands the cloud women to start tkling him.

3. Lee!Odysseus, ler!Polyphemus: After killing off his favourite sheep (R.I.S Bill/ref), Polyphemus goes to lift Odysseus up in the air and have a bit of a rant about how it's time to 'drink his blood' or whatever, but Ody is persistent in getting out of the cyclops' hold. Whilst trying to recapture him, Polyphemus inadvertently grazes against a sensitive spot and Ody lets out a stupid squeaky noise. Being a younger cyclops with child-like ideals, Polyphemus gets *very* interested.

4. Switch!Hermes, switch!Tiresias: With a little bit of free time to spare, Hermes decides to visit a certain blind prophet in the Underworld. Tiresias, on the other hand, is not currently using his gift of foresight, and gets quite surprised when a stranger suddenly pinches at his sides from behind, revealing an embarrassing secret by accident. A secret that Hermes wishes to explore, even if it comes with the price of an unexpectedly playful prophet.

5. Lee!Polites, lers!Odysseus and Eurylochus: Shockingly, Polites isn't exactly as much of a morning person as one might expect, and the poor soldier ends up oversleeping one morning on the ship. Will the Captain let this slide? No, of course not, so Odysseus invites his second in command to both help wake their dear friend up, and offer a lesson in getting out of bed when he's supposed to.

6. Lee!Eurylochus, ler!Odysseus (and Polites iyw): Eurylochus worries a lot, that's an objective fact. Not just in necessary situations either, he would sometimes get concerned over the tiniest of issues, such as a soldier eating something that was slightly out of date. Sure, his care was appreciated, but it did get in the way of genuine fun occasionally. Luckily, Captain Odysseus is here to cure him of his worries, just for the next day or so. Plus, it had been getting annoying.

7. Lee!Odysseus, ler!Aeolus: Upon the top of Aeolus' sky island, Odysseus asks desperately for their aid in passing through a hefty storm. Of course, the mischievous wind spirit is happy to play along, conjuring up a wind bag for the man. Although, Aeolus doesn't really feel like passing down such a gift for *free*, no. To get what he wants, Odysseus needs to earn their favour through a small trial. Unfortunately, that trial just so happens to trick him into revealing a very silly weakness, which Aeolus all but lights up at.

8. Lee!Antinous, ler!Telemarketing: During the 'Little Wolf' fight, Athena grants Telemachus the gift of Quick Thought, so that he has a better chance of winning against Antinous. However, she cannot do much more than that, as he needs to be the one who stands up for himself. Although, with his sped up mindset, Telemachus can't help but try and think outside the box a bit. If Antinous was dead set on violence, then maybe the Prince could find a more surprising way around it, so that his opponent would get caught off guard. Of course, silliness and Antinous' public humiliation ensues.

9. Switch!Zeus, switch!Poseidon: Zeus, being the annoying little brother he is, pesters the hell out of Poseidon for losing against a mortal and getting beaten up. Eventually, the sea god can't take it anymore, lashing out against him. Obviously, they couldn't kill each other, but Poseidon had learnt another way to shut him up through the years. Unfortunately, the thunder god had also caught onto those little tricks.

10. Lees!Eurylochus and Odysseus, lers!Penelope and Ctimene: (either pre-war or an AU where Eury comes home alive) Not much to summarise, just two sisters in law attacking their husbands with tkly affection, may both women have mercy upon their giggly souls <3

11. Lee!Odysseus, ler!Penelope: After 20 long years of being apart, Ody develops major separation anxiety and practically clings to Penelope wherever she goes, or is at least in the same room. One night, our poor King is having difficulty sleeping, waking up every now and then just because he's afraid that his wife will somehow disappear between each short interval. Unable to sleep herself, because of his jolts, Penelope tries an old tactic to make him feel safer.

I think that's all I've got for now lmao, if anyone wants to use these but wishes to modify them a little, go right ahead. 🤗

Apollo Justice had a new mystery to solve. One that fortunately didn’t include murder, but nonetheless gave him a fair amount of grief.

The mystery involved his closest friend and most intimate companion: Clay Terran. After being friends for more than a decade, the two of them knew each other like the back of their hands. Or at least, that’s what Apollo had thought until Clay had shown up at his apartment on Saturday morning acting like a completely different person. He knew something was up immediately; his attitude was piss poor, and nothing seemed to pull him out of it. He had moped around all morning, barely saying a word and preferring to grunt as his chosen form of communication. It was the first time he’d ever seen Clay so down and lethargic since the death of his mother. And despite Apollo’s attempts to reach out, he refused to talk about it.

By late afternoon, the budding lawyer had grown tired of Clay’s crabbiness. He realized he would have to take drastic measures to find the truth.

It started off innocently enough. The two friends were sprawled out across Apollo’s gigantic brown leather couch in the living room; Clay laying against the pillows on one side with his arms crossed, and Apollo leaning against the back of the couch next to him. He flipped through the channels mindlessly as Clay stared blankly at the changing screen.

“Law and Order’s on.”

“Eh.”

“Okay… what about SVU? That one’s got better cases, anyway.”

“Sure.”

“So is that a yes?”

“Whatever.”

Apollo paused for a moment, looking over at his friend who had a sullen look on his face. He pointed the remote at the TV and pressed a button, sliding the remote on the coffee table as he turned to face Clay. The dialogue murmured in the background as he spoke.

“Alright, time to fess up.”

“Hm?”

“Don’t ‘hmm’ me. You’ve been acting weird all day. Tell me what happened.”

Clay just pouted.

“Nothin. Just in a bad mood.”

Ba-dump.

…Oh! Apollo felt his bracelet tighten around his wrist. Although he didn’t need to use his perceive ability to know that Clay was lying, he decided to use it anyway.

“Clay,” he started, hoping to prod a confession out of him. “This isn’t like you. I know something’s wrong. Why can’t you just tell me?”

Clay shifted a little in his seat, but his expression didn’t change much.

“I’m fine! Really! Just drop it.”

Ba-dump. There it was again. Apollo could’ve sworn he saw his lower lip quiver when he said the first part.

“Your frown is giving you away. Your lip trembled when you said ‘I’m fine.’”

Clay shot a glare at him.

“Get out of my head with your lawyer stuff! If I say I’m fine, I’m fine!!”

He said those last words quite loudly, and they had Apollo at a loss. There had to be something he could do. Even if he couldn’t get him to confess, he could at least try to cheer him up.

After pondering his options, he eventually slid off the couch and walked around back, feigning defeat.

“Alright… if you say so…”

Clay paid no mind to his friend as he snuck behind him, unaware of what he was planning next. He suddenly shot up when he felt a pair of hands squeeze in between two sensitive spots on his shoulders.

“AAAH!”

He tried to worm away, but Apollo had a strong grip. He could hear him snickering behind him.

“Relax! You’re so jumpy.”

“Ngggh! Stop!!”

Apollo laughed out loud, rolling his thumbs into his skin to add to his torment. He relished in the sight of Clay squirming so aggressively under his touch.

“Don’t tell me you’re still ticklish?”

“Nnnnnh, no!”

Finally, Clay managed to shake him off. He twisted around, taking a swing at him but missing by a long shot.

“Seriously, stop! Don’t touch me there.”

“Alright… I won’t touch you there…”

Apollo walked into the kitchen, and when Clay was certain he was gone, he turned back to face the TV. A few minutes passed by uneventfully, and he started actually paying attention to the episode of SVU. Unfortunately, this meant he was caught off guard again when Apollo suddenly body slammed him from behind the couch, pinning him down on his stomach and shoving his hands under his arms.

“AAAAAAAAH! Ahahahaaaaa-HAHAHA! Dude, stop!!”

“Stop what? What’s wrong?”

Clay was alternating between keeping his arms at his sides and attempting to elbow Apollo’s hands away. His frustrations only amplified when his efforts to fight him off ended in vain. Despite kicking his legs and twisting his body from side to side, he could not escape and resigned himself to laughter.

“AHAHAHA – Apollo!! – GAAAAAH! Don’t!!”

Apollo grinned. He could tell the tickling was starting to get to him.

“Remember when I used to pin you down and tickle you like this when we were kids? You loved it.”

“NAAAOOO! I dihihihidn’t!”

“Are your ribs still ticklish?”

“NOOOOOO!”

It was an elegant switch; Apollo simply drifted his hands downwards and began clawing at his ribs. His wide hands fit perfectly around Clay’s athletic midsection; one finger rested upon each rib. He knew this spot wasn’t as bad as his underarms, but for Clay it was torture nonetheless.

“Ahahahaha - AHAHAHAHAHA! Apolloooooo!”

“Why are you laughing so much, huh? What’s wrong?”

“It TIHIHIHICKLES!! Pleeeeease!”

“Please what? Tickle you more? Oookay~”

“NOOOO! You assHOHOHOLE!!”

Clay’s laughter pitched higher when Apollo’s fingers reached his sides, as it did whenever he touched another ticklish spot. He made things ten times worse by poking all over at random. His ribs, stomach, and underarms were no match, and as he was already quite weak he could barely flail his arms at this point. He shrieked every time Apollo touched him, jolting into the air as if he was bouncing on a trampoline.

“AAH! NO! GOD! STAHAHP! NOOO!”

Apollo relented at last, allowing his breathless friend to regain his senses. Clay lay limp for a moment and breathed deeply between flipping over onto his back, still too worn out to think of a witty comeback.

“Don’tcha feel a little better now?” the lawyer asked with a shit-eating grin.

Clay’s smile soon faded once his breathing returned to normal. A melancholy expression washed over his face as he turned away, eyes slightly wet and reflecting the ceiling lights. He almost looked worse than before. It broke Apollo’s heart to see him like that.

“Clay… I know that look. What’s eatin’ you? I’m your best friend. You can tell me.”

Clay sighed, fighting back tears as he spoke his next words.

“I got dumped…”

Apollo’s mouth fell open in shock.

“Wait, seriously? She broke up with you?”

“Yeah…”

Neither one of them spoke for a while. The only sound coming from the television and Clay’s still staggered breaths. Apollo was the once to finally break the silence.

“I’m so sorry,” he whispered.

Clay just shook his head.

“It was a long time coming. I thought I’d be fine, but honestly… I’m not.”

Apollo sat there for a moment, puzzling over the situation in his head.

“Well, what do you wanna do? Or I guess, what do you need me to do to help you feel better?”

Clay gave him a bizarre look, a mix of confusion and embarrassment. Apollo watched as his already pinkish face blossomed into a deep shade of ruby. He mumbled something, looking away in shame, then quickly shook his head. Apollo pressed him for more info.

“What? What is it?”

Clay returned his gaze, and took a deep breath with cheeks aflame.

“You could… uh… do that again.”

“… What? Do what?”

“You know… what you were just doing…”

Apollo put two and two together, and finally realized what his friend was asking. A wide smile spread across his face that he couldn’t suppress even if he tried.

“Oohhh… you want me to do this?”

He scribbled his fingers across Clay’s stomach and laughed along with him as he cackled and squealed, this time a little more jubilant than before.

Wait guys I just had the most whimsical idea for EPIC tkls

What if Odysseus was summoned to God Games, and during each god's argument, they'd tkl him in areas that corresponded to their criticism? (Then maybe every time, Athena would dish out tkls to that god in her rebuttal)

Like, Apollo talking about the siren song, maybe giving him neck tkls because that's where the vocal cords are

Hephaestus going for palm tkls, because you'd shake people's hands to forge friendships and trust with them

Aphrodite is all about the heart, so I'd say chest area, like collarbones and maybe underarms

Ares, he goes off on a rant about Ody not being strong enough for his crew's sake, so bicep, thigh and abdomen tkls seem fair, since his physical strength is most evident in those muscles

Hera is defo a tough one, but it'd be cute if she went for his ears with a peacock feather. Ears because of how many similar tales she's heard before, about great 'heroes' like him.

Juniper’s Secret - [Junipollo]

Apollo liked to pride himself in his ability to solve cases and crack puzzles in the courtroom. When to came to his girlfriend, however, all those deduction skills flew out the window.

He had only been dating Juniper for a little over a month. She had returned to the city at the beginning of summer right after finishing her undergraduate studies in law. Seeking guidance as she prepared for the bar exam, she’d gone to the Wright Anything Agency to seek help, thus running into Apollo for the first time in years. He offered to tutor her, which allowed them to get reacquainted and, subsequently, fall for each other.

He was more comfortable with her than almost anything else. Unfortunately, he couldn’t say the same for her.

There was something she was hiding from him, and he couldn’t figure out what it was. It only came to mind during certain situations; the first time he noticed it, all he had down was brush a strand of hair behind her ear. She flinched and turned her head, scurrying away before he could utter a word. The second time, he had slid his hand around her waist as they were walking, and after letting out a small shriek she ended up squirming in his grasp aggressively, practically pushing him off. Her cheeks burned bright red and she’d refused to look at him for some time after.

“Are you okay, Junie?” he asked her with a worried tone.

“Y-yeah! Sorry. I’m fine!”

And then… Ba-dump. His bracelet tightened around his wrist, signifying that she had a secret to hide. Not wanting to make her uncomfortable, he offered a solution.

“If you’re not comfortable with me touching you yet, it’s alright. I’ll keep my hands off until you’re ready. You just say the word,” he said, flashing her a warm smile to let her know he meant it.

“No!” she spat out a little too excitedly. “I mean, no, that’s not it. It’s just… I, um, well…”

She tripped over her words a bit longer before giving up and scuttling away like a timid little kitten, leaving Apollo even more confused than before.

 He decided to get to the bottom of things once and for all.

He found his opportunity one Sunday afternoon when they were both lounging on the leather couch in his apartment. Junie, laying sideways on the pillows with her legs stretched out and crossed at the ankle, and Apollo leaning against the opposite side next to her feet. They chatted away idly about anything and anyone, laughing whenever a funny memory from the past was brought up. Inadvertently at one point, Apollo ended up resting his hand on the top of her foot, causing her to flinch almost violently. He immediately took it off and placed it on his chest.

“Oh!! I’m sorry! I wasn’t thinking.”

Her shoulders seemed to shrink down a little bit, as if she were trying to hide.

“It’s okay! You can… you can put it back…”

He barely heard the last part of her sentence, but nonetheless his hand returned. He playfully ran his palm up and down the tops of her feet, noticing how soft and delicate the skin was and how they seemed to shudder at his touch. It gave him a sudden idea.

“Do you want a massage? I give really good ones.”

Half expecting her to say no, he was almost shocked to see her face light up.

“Yeah, sure! I could really use that, actually.”

After scooching a little closer, he carefully took hold of both her ankles and plopped her feet in his lap. Gently, he began to rub small circles into her soles, taking care not to apply too much pressure and going as slowly as possible. He observed her facial expressions, paying heed to any slight display of discomfort or pain. He saw her squeeze her eyes shut and press her lips together, unsure if it was pain or pleasure she was experiencing.

“Is this okay?”

She nodded her head, not uttering a peep. Regardless, he lightened up his touch, now simply stroking his thumbs lazily in a circular motion. Her feet twitched more noticeably upon every movement, especially when he reached her toes, but she didn’t pull away. He looked up at her again and this time saw her clutching one of the smaller pillows into her chest, her breathing getting a little more rigid.

“Are you sure you’re okay?”

She opened her eyes, and nodded again, but this time with a strange expression on her face. Was she… grimacing?

“I’m fffffine! Seheriously!”

Ba-dump. There it was again. His bracelet detected a lie. Using his perception, he looked for any traces of subtle tension…

…and saw it in the most curious place.

He had to confirm this.

“Junie… are you really okay?”

Looking a little confused, she nodded again. “Ye, yeah… I’m fine… why do you keep asking?”

He saw it once more. A slight curl of her toes when she said “fine”. He finally found it!

“Junie… your toes curl whenever you say ‘fine’. Is there something you’re not telling me?”

She froze, her eyes wide as they made contact with his. He tried to soften his gaze in hopes she’d realize that yes, she could trust him, there was no need to keep such secrets. But she was still holding back.

Wanting to lighten the mood, he cracked a goofy smile and placed his fingers at the base of her heels.

“What’s the matter? Do I need to tickle it out of you or something?”

Juniper practically jumped when she heard his threat. She began to protest frantically, tripping over her words as they stumbled from her mind and out of her mouth.

“Wait, Apollo!! You don’t need to, I mean, wait, I’m really-AHAHHAHAHAHA!”

She didn’t get a chance to finish as he began scrabbling his fingers across her soles, causing her to squeal cutely in a way Apollo had never heard before. She scrunched her toes in attempt to block the tickly sensations, but that only encouraged him to dig in between the wrinkled lines with the tips of his nails. With all her might she tried to pull her legs away, but with his arm wrapped around her ankles it was near impossible. In a last ditch effort, she tried smacking him with one of the pillows nearby, but he dodged her blows easily.

“I had no idea your feet were so ticklish,” he teased as one hand dusted the tops of her feet again.

“AAAAAAH! Don’t teeheeheese meee!”

He stopped momentarily, letting her catch her breath knowing that she was prone to coughs. He released his hold on her ankles, climbing his way to the already flustered Juniper until he was half-sitting on her shins.

“Don’t come any closeeeer!” She giggled, playfully punching him in the shoulder and not really trying that hard to stop him.

“Where else are you ticklish?” he asked with an innocent grin. “As your boyfriend, I demand to know.”

She just shook her head and giggled some more, intertwining her hands with his and trying to push him off with little success.

“Nowhere! I swear!!”

He managed to escape her grip and planted his hands on her upper thighs. She jumped at the unexpected touch. He smirked, knowing this was probably another one of her “spots”.

“I’m detecting another lie.”

He gave one light experimental squeeze and was pleased to hear Juniper let out another one of her unbelievably cute squeals. She practically leapt up, as if she was being shocked with electrical cables.

“HAAAAAAAAA! Apollo!! Eeheeeheehee!!”

He moved upwards a bit, this time kneading into the crease where her thighs met her hips, smiling wider when her laughter reached even higher decibels. Her hands clutched his wrists and pulled weakly as she succumbed to yet another one of his tickle attacks. She struggled a bit more than she had when he was tickling her feet; her hips seemed to be way more sensitive. She instinctively tried to curl up her knees, but couldn’t as he was putting most of his lower body weight onto them.

“This seems like a good spot.”

“AHAHAHAA! It’s NAHAHAHAT!”

The corners of her lips upturned, the biggest smile plastered across her face, and the melodic sound of her giggles and squeaks… it was all too cute for Apollo to handle. He found himself at odds, wanting to keep going so he could continue to hear her angelic laughter, but also wanting to respect her boundaries.

He relented once more, making sure she had enough time to return to a steady rhythm of breathing. He took that moment to just admire her. Her mousy brown hair had started to come out of her two braids from the struggles. Her usually pale skin flushed an attractive shade of rosy pink that spread all the way down from neck to shoulders. A light sheen of sweat layered across her flushed skin like morning dew. She was still smiling, and a few residual titters could be heard every few seconds.

Apollo moved his hand to brush a few stray hairs out of her eyes. He traced a path from forehead to ear, and took note when she scrunched up her shoulder and giggled when his fingers reached her lobe.

“Is this what you’ve been hiding from me all this time?”

“Ehehehe…! What do you mean?”

He tickled her under her chin for a few seconds, laughing when she shook her head in reaction.

“You’re super, duper, incredibly ticklish. That’s your secret, right?”

Juniper’s face got even redder. She averted his eyes, apparently still feeling shy.

“Um, well… not exactly…”

Huh. So, it wasn’t over. Juniper was proving to be a very interesting puzzle.

“What is it, then?”

“I… I can’t say!! It’s too embarrassing…”

“Hmm… I guess I have no choice…”

Apollo launched his next attack before she could even begin to prepare for it. He wormed his way under her arms, wiggling all ten fingers there and not stopping even when her arms came down to trap them. She howled even louder than before, flailing her legs as a way to vent her suffering.

“GAHAHAHAHAHA! NOT THEHEHEHERE!”

“Not there? Alright, what about here?”

It was a smooth switch. He trailed down her sides until he reached her slim waist and clawed the soft area with the lightest of touches. He enjoyed the way she was squirming from side to side, so he stayed there for a while.

“OhmygahAHAHAHAHAD! Apollooooooo!”

He interrogated her with a smirk on his face.

“Gonna tell me now?”

“Okahahahay OKAY! I lihihihike it!”

Her answer made him lose focus. He pulled his hands away, resting them on his thighs.

“Huh?”

Juniper looked a little sheepish, but kept that joyful smile on her face. She glanced up at him with cheeks aflame.

“I… I like it.”

“You like… what?”

“I like… I like… you know!!”

He did know, but it had taken so much effort to get to this point, he wanted to tease her for a bit. Relish in his victory. His grin became a little more arrogant in nature.

“Hmm… I don’t know, actually… mind elaborating?”

“Okay fine! I like… Ilikebngtckld…”

He cupped a hand to his ear as he asked his next question obnoxiously loud.

“I didn’t quite catch that… say it again, Junie?”

“Apollo!!”

He reached out his hands and wiggled them in the air menacingly above her belly.

“Here it comes! Kichi kichi coooo!”

She grabbed his hands and stopped him before they could wreck her once more.

“Alright, alright!! I like being tickled!”

He laughed heartily, his hands retreating. His eyes stayed on her; she looked away, but he gently took her chin in hand and turned her face back to meet his own.

“That’s all? Junie, I think it’s adorable.”

She seemed relieved to hear those words; her shoulders relaxed ever so slightly.

“… You do?”

Apollo nodded.

“Yeah, of course! I love your laugh. And I love doing things that make you happy. So if you ever want me to tickle you, all you have to do is ask!”

She looked away from him again, but her smile remained.

“…. Hehe…. okay.”

“Also, don’t be afraid to tell me things. I’m your boyfriend, you can trust me. Okay?”

“Okay!”

Still leaning over her, he planted a kiss on her forehead as she closed her eyes and breathed deeply. Her smile only grew wider, and his heart grew warm at the sight. It felt like they had been both waiting for this moment for a while, finally allowed to indulge in their desires. He kissed her cheeks, and then her lips, and then the rest of her face as she sunk into the cushions, surrendering to his affections.
