💞 “The Great Giggle Duel” 💞
(Ler!Espio & Ler!Shadow | Lee!Sonic & Lee!Silver — chaotic, fluffy fun)
“Alright,” Sonic said, crossing his arms. “You guys are definitely plotting something.”
He wasn’t wrong. Espio and Shadow stood across the room, perfectly still, perfectly silent… and somehow radiating menace.
Silver blinked between them nervously. “Uh… why are they looking at us like that?”
Espio’s voice came first—smooth and calm, like he was announcing a mission. “Shadow proposed a challenge.”
Sonic groaned. “Oh boy. That’s never good.”
Shadow’s smirk deepened. “We were debating which of you two would last longer.”
Silver tilted his head, innocent. “Last longer… at what?”
Espio’s tail flicked. “Enduring this.”
Before Silver could ask again, Espio vanished. In a blur of purple, he reappeared right behind him, two fingers already skittering up Silver’s sides.
Silver’s reaction was instant. “EEP—! EhehehEhehEHhspiooo! N-NOhohoho!!”
Shadow’s smirk widened. “I see you’ve started already.”
Sonic blinked. “Started wh—WAIT—!”
He didn’t get to finish before Shadow pounced, all cool restraint gone as he pinned Sonic by the waist and scribbled under his arms.
“WAAHAHAHAHA! SHAHADOW! STAHAHAHAP—!!”
“Hmm. Not even ten seconds,” Shadow mused casually, though his fingers didn’t slow. “Pathetic.”
Sonic twisted and cackled helplessly, his kicks only earning a dark chuckle from the ultimate life form.
Silver, meanwhile, was practically glowing pink from laughter. Espio’s technique was silent, methodical—fluttering fingers at his ribs, light scratches at his neck, every move precise and deliberate.
“Y-you’re so mean!! EHEHEHhhEhhhehEhehhheEhhh! Espioooo!!”
“Focus,” Espio replied, smirking faintly. “Endurance training, remember?”
“That’s not—! HAHAHA—! NOT TRAININGGG!!”
Sonic, red-faced and breathless, somehow managed to bark out through laughter, “HahhahHAH! Shadow! You—! You call—! Thhh-this a chhahallenge—!?”
Shadow arched a brow. “You think you could handle Espio’s precision?”
Sonic was too busy dissolving into laughter to respond.
Silver gasped out between giggles, “Espiooo! He’s—he’s cheheating!!”
Espio chuckled, tail flicking lazily. “No, Silver. He’s losing.”
Shadow snorted, then got that look. The dangerous one. “Oh really?”
And suddenly, both ticklers looked at each other. Then at their boyfriends. Then at each other again.
…Oh no.
Sonic’s eyes went wide. “Shadow. Don’t you—”
Silver squeaked, “Espio no please wait—!!”
Too late.
Espio and Shadow switched.
Sonic found himself under Espio’s nimble fingers, and Silver had Shadow looming above with an expression that promised no mercy.
The results were instant chaos. Sonic’s laughter hit new octaves—Espio’s featherlight precision destroyed him worse than Shadow’s strength ever did.
“HEHEHEHEHEHhhhhhAHhHhhh—!! OHHhhh KAY! OHHH KAHAHHHAY!!”
Meanwhile, Silver was practically squealing under Shadow’s merciless teasing—low raspberries into his neck, deep pokes at his ribs, relentless and evil.
“SHAhahahaHADOWWW!!! STAHAhHAP—!!!”
“Hmm. I don’t think that was the safe word,” Shadow teased smoothly, his own smirk breaking into a small grin.
“Yohohou—yohohou’re enjohohohying this!!” Silver gasped through bright laughter.
“Immensely.”
It went on for a good five minutes—four voices tangled together in laughter, teasing, and playful chaos until finally both ticklers relented. Sonic and Silver collapsed side by side, breathless and giggly, while Shadow and Espio stood over them with matching smirks.
“So?” Shadow asked. “Who won?”
Espio folded his arms. “Clearly me.”
“You think?” Shadow raised a brow. “Silver cracked first.”
“He squeals adorably,” Espio said flatly. “That’s not defeat—it’s art.”
Silver, still catching his breath, groaned, “P-please—nohoho more art—”
Sonic chimed in with a dazed grin, “Y-you both lose—because we’re getting rehehevenge—!”
The words barely left his mouth before both he and Silver lunged—Sonic at Shadow, Silver at Espio—and soon they were the ones squealing, laughter filling the room all over again.
