Human Disadvantages
Summary: Mavis decides to cheer up two of her uncles after Dracula punishes them by making them human.
Recap: "I'M KEEPING THIS!" Dracula said as he grabbed the monster ray and turned to the other monsters. "If any of you misbehave, you'll have to spend a whole week as a human!"
Unfortunately, that was today. The monsters decided to play a prank on Johnny that day. Griffin has already told the others about his plan. He was planning on invisibly ambushing Johnny, making him a giggling mess. The others asked if Drac would suspect them, but the Invisible Man was confident.
The monsters went in to the second row seats and got into position for phase one. Griffin lightly poked Johnny's side, making him jump a little. Mavis was the first to notice.
"Are you okay, Johnny?" she asked, bewildered by how her husband was acting.
"Y-yeheah, everythihing's fihine," Johnny managed as best he could through his giggles. Drac, who was reading a book, just stared.
"Okay..." he said, not bothering to question anything. The other monsters grinned at each other and Griffin started tickling Johnny's sides, causing uncontrollable giggling.
"W-what's gohohohohoing ohohohon?" Johnny said through his giggles. Mavis started suspecting that this laughter was not a reaction to something funny as far as she knew.
"Good question..." she said noticing that the other monsters were right behind them. Drac just kept reading, not noticing a thing. Mavis just gave the other monsters a look that said I'm watching you.
"Oh, she's eyeing us..." Murray worriedly said.
"It's not like she's gonna tell Drac, right?" Frank said, blowing their cover when Drac looked uo from his book.
"Tell me what?" he said, looking at the others. Mavis decided to call them out.
"Uncle Griffin and the others are being weird and trying to prank us!" she blurted out, glaring at the other monsters. They looked nervous as they knew that Drac waa going to punish them as he grabbed the monster ray and turned to the other monsters.
"That's it! Prepare to be humans!" Drac said, turning the ray to the human setting and turning all four monsters human.
The next day, their week had begun. For Frank and Murray, being human wasn't so bad. In fact it was a benefit. Drac sat in between them, having to listen to snoring and camera clicks. Sure he felt bad for doing this but no one can go unpunished. However, Griffin and Wayne were not happy about being human. Sure being visible was great, but if Griffin was invisible he could sneak up on others and not be seen. For Wayne, this was his second time being a human. The first is when they mistakenly drank human elixir. He wasn't used to this whole human thing.
After a while, Mavis, in her bat form, came in. She saw that Griffin looked unsettled and Wayne had his knees to his chest. She had never seen them like this in a while.
"Hey, guys," she said, landing in between them and transforming back into her vampire form. "Um... sorry for ratting on you like that, but you know how my dad is."
"We've been through worse..." Griffin admitted, getting sidetracked. "Even though being human sucks."
"Y'know, I think I might know how to cheer you guys up," Mavis said, getting an idea.
"How?" Wayne asked, not knowing what he and Griffin were in for.
"As I've learned from my dad, laughter is the best medicine," Mavis said, now smirking. Griffin knew what that meant.
"Oh, no," he said, trying to get away, but Mavis, being the clever vampire she is, transformed into a bat and tackled him with all her strength as she transformed back, pinning him down.
"A treatment like this will have you cheered up in no time," Mavis said, positioning her fingers at Griffin's sides.
"Mavis, please don't, EEP!" He didn't have time to finish his sentence as he burst into laughter as Mavis started tickling him.
"So you're ticklish, huh?" Mavis said as she tickled his sides.
"M-Mavihihihis, that tickles!" Griffin said through his laughter as his sides were shown no mercy. "Stop it!"
Wayne just watched with confusion and anxiety. He'd never seen Mavis tickling any of the monsters at the hotel, and that she tickles Johnny on a regular basis. He was also aware Mavis would be tickling him as well. Sure he's been tickled before, but only during his first time as a human.
"Y'know, if you were invisible, it wouldn't be as much fun," Mavis said, targetting Griffin's stomach, without knowing how ticklish he is there. He was overwhelmed with hysterical laughter.
"STAHAHAHAHAHAP IHIHIHIHIHIT! MAHAHAHAVIS! PLEHEHEHEHEASE NOHOHOHOHOHOHO MOHOHOHOHORE!" Griffin pleaded through his laughter as his stomach was shown no mercy.
"But you look happier already," Mavis said, satisfied that her plan was working. She kept tickling Griffin, sensing that he was close to being cheered up.
"STAHAHAHAHAHAP! PLEHEHEHEHEASE! I CAHAHAHAHAN'T TAHAHAHAHAKE IHIHIHIHIHIT! NOHOHOHOHOHOHO MOHOHOHOHORE!" Griffin found it very difficult to get any words out without being dissolved by laughter.
After twenty minutes of nonstop tickling, feeling like hours for Griffin, Mavis stopped tickling him and turned to Wayne, who barely had enough time to react when Mavis lightly poked his side, causing him to jump a little.
"So you're ticklish too, huh?" Mavis said as she lunged towards him, grabbing his sides, making him giggle.
"P- plehehehease, don't do this!" Wayne said as best he could through his giggles.
"And leave you out of all the fun? No way! Besides, I haven't even started and you're already giggling," Mavis said as she started tickling him. "Everyone should be included in fun activities."
"But it tickles!" Wayne replied with giggling as Mavis continued to tickle him. She has never tickled him before.
"That's the point!" Mavis said as she targeted his stomach, causing uncontrollable laughter.
"NOHOHOHOHOHOHO! MAHAHAHAHAHAKE IHIHIHIHIHIT STAHAHAHAHAHAP! PLEHEHEHEHEASE! I DOHOHOHON'T LIHIHIHIHIKE THIHIHIHIHIS!" Wayne pleaded through his laughter as his stomach was shown no mercy.
"Awww, but why? Hehe. This is fun!" Mavis said, continuing her assault.
"THIHIHIHIHIS ISN'T FUHUHUHUHUHUHUNNY! STAHAHAHAHAHAP IHIHIHIHIHIT! I'M TOHOHOHOHOHO TICKLISH FOHOHOHOR THIHIHIHIHIS!" Wayne found it very difficult to get any words out without being dissolved by laughter.
After twenty minutes of nonstop tickling, feeling like hours for Wayne, Mavis stopped tickling him and was satisfied with her mission.
"So, do you guys feel better?" Mavis asked, leaning in as if she were to tickle them again.
"Yeah... we do," Griffin said as he and Wayne were catching their breath after being tickled to bits.
