DanDaDan TK Headcannons
HELLOOOO!! I wanted to officially post DanDaDan content before the anime comes out and it hopefully picks up popularity (I gotta be the first one to make tickle content of it!!) I’m kinda nervous posting these since the DanDaDan fandom on tumblr is still relatively small. So on that note, if anyone who isn’t in this community comes across this post keep in mind these are tickle headcannons lmaooo and if that makes you uncomfortable you are free to leave!
I decided to stick to these four, (Momo, Okarun, Aira & Jiji) even if this manga technically has an M6 with Seiko & Turbo Granny. Maybe later I’ll make separate hcs for characters like Vamola!! For now, I hope the 2 others people in the tickle community who like DanDaDan enjoy these hcs!! :)
I wanna tag spoilers since Aira & Jiji’s abilities in of itself might be considered spoilers to new readers?? but its fine you literally cant search up ddd without seeing stuff abt evil eye.
Jiji is the type to wrap those he loves in those tighttt, comfy hugs and then refuse to let go of them. No matter how much Momo, Okarun or Aira complain he just replies with “Sorry but, you’re mine now! *cue pathetic evil laugh*” The only way to get this loser to let go is to tickle him. But he’s also such a goofball that they have to get him crying laughing curled up on the floor for him to actually let go (i want him to explode).
He will stubbornly hold on, maybe even drag them down to the floor with him since his knees are weakened by his laughing and he is just SO BIG. I can see this happening to Aira the most actually, then when he’s fully on the floor she just full on attacks him with tickles. Momo is starting to suspect he does these hugs on purpose to get tickled by them, Jiji thought that intention was obvious.
I used to say Momo’s the only one who’s not ticklish but honestly I fully retract that, I think she is super ticklish like the rest of them. EXCEPT, she’s the one no one dares to tickle. She can somehow guess everyone’s worst spots just by looking at them, not to mention if someone starts an attack on her they will probably get thrown off by her spirit hands (is that what they’re called?) Not purposely ofc but when she’s thrashing around she might have a record of accidentally using it as some sort of fight or flight response. (Jiji has learned this first hand)
In terms of ticklishness, Aira and Jiji are tied being a whopping 15/10 cause seriously just look at them. Okarun is probably a 9/10 while Momo’s an 8/10 (they are all super ticklish trust me.)
Number one target for tickles is Okarun anyways though. Especially by Momo and Jiji, he’s just so easy to tickle? They both love tickling him too because he is the CUTEST when tickled, doesn’t fight back at all and just curls up and complains (half-heartedly) and they both find it so endearing. Ofc for different reasons, Momo losing her mind with my god how can he be this cute how can I not kiss him right now. If i kiss him right now would that… no Momo! Bad momo! While Jiji is he’s so cuteeee! Look at how much he’s laughhhinggg! How have I lived before hearing such a cute laughhhh??
Jiji can not take was he dishes out at all, he turns into giggles with just a few pokes to his stomach. Still, he does fight to hold back his laugh most times!! I don’t know if anyone here watches Off//L/ne TV but yknow the tk portion of that one try not to laugh vid? J//hn is LITERALLY how Jiji would act. Like him jokingly puffing up his shoulders and dramatically hitting his chest to be all tough, Jiji would totally do that when someone threatens to tickle him. Like “Oh yeah? I’m not scared! Try me!” Just for him to crumble and ultimately fall to the floor squirming around in hysterics.
Aira is so stubborn on everything, never agreeing to disagree or compromise, admit stuff, unless tickling is brought into it. After Momo wiggles her fingers at Aira, suddenly she WANTS to find a compromise to what meal they order! Aira lying about something to Jiji and he ofc wants her to admit whatever it is to him, one small childish tease of “Do I need to bring out a friend to change your mind~?” And it’s INSTANT truth from her. She would never admit it (or maybe she would if threatened lolol) but she loves it, it helps that none of them exploit this silly little weakness of hers when its serious stuff or when she is giving clear signs its not her stubbornness— but she actually cant say anything.
For each character, their top 2 most ticklish spots areeeee Momo: Hips, Thighs | Okarun: Sides, Stomach | Jiji: Underarms, Back | Aira: Knee’s, Ribs.
Jiji loves to tickle people for no reason, both with warning and as a surprise. mostly Aira and Okarun since they are so small making them sooo easy to grab and tickle. Plus he thinks both of their laughs are just super cute and silly, and I just know Jiji LOVES laughter!!! Laughing with people, others laughing at his jokes?? Laughing himself?? Jiji is the biggest goofball ever, so I think he’d love tickling his friends just to hear them laugh all cute, and he likes being tickled himself too!!! I am totally normally cant you tell!!
I mentioned this in an off post but because of how much Jiji sneaks up on those two and tickles them, both Aira and Okarun started getting super jumpy whenever they hear footsteps or other innocent noises coming from behind, looking over their shoulders.
Momo saw this and got worried, wondering if they felt unsafe of if they were scared of being here. Since they both don’t want Momo to feel like she’s doing something wrong— they both ended up telling her with beat red faces whats actually happening. Momo of course finds it adorable, laughs at them for a bit, but lets them in on a little secret…
That Jiji is hopelessly ticklish himself, snitching on his worst spots, what teases get him the most, etc. The two of them light up and began their revenge plan, and after, they learn that Momo was 100% telling the truth. Also, how adorable their friend was when being tickled. Momo is the no1 snitch
Aira is a loser and abuses her abilities from Acro Silky to get back at people <3 and also just to protect herself if she reacts in time to threats of tickling. Hear me out seriously the hair thing is so goddamn versatile, it’d be SOOO unfair if she was ler in a situation. Her wanting to get back at Momo and using her abilities to trap her hands behind her back and wrap them to hopefully detain her power??? SOOO UNFAIR but works perfectly for her and she can scot free tickle Momo for how much she tickles Aira.
Aira uses her ability against Jiji too! I’d say she’s much nicer with him though and will usually use it to do things like… pick him up by his waist and throw him onto a bed or couch, him of course giggling the entire time. Or catch him if he runs away after JUST having tickled her, shes a revenge kinda girl.
FOR OKARUN NONONO she would never use her abilities against him! He gets special treatment remember! Honestly I think she’s wayyy to nervous to even tickle him most cases lol unless its a group attack. Even then Jiji or Momo will have to yell for her help.
They all have the cutest laughs <3 Okarun’s is very tiny and somewhat quiet, but also sporadic. Somehow theres giggles mixed with hiccups, squeaks, snorts, any silly noise possible. Momo has your typical loud laugh that is a constant string of hahaha’s. Aira’s is almost equal to Okarun’s but its superrrr loud just like Momos, and very funny. While Jiji has a bubbly contagious laugh that just makes you want to laugh with him, also loud like the other twos.
Momo and Jiji are the type of people who need to be tickled out of bed sometimes. Meanwhile I see Aira & Okarun being very light sleepers so if someone even tries to tickle them awake they’d jolt up from the footsteps alone. Momo wakes up slowly and curses the tickler a bit, “fuhuhuck off! I’m up okahahay?!” BUT DONT TRUST HER!! You leave her alone for 3 seconds and shes somehow deep asleep again. Unless she’s stumbling out of bed laughing she’s not awake lol. Meanwhile with Jiji the tickling manages to wake him up quick, but he just bargains with himself, its not that bad… I can still sleep like this… and pretends to not feel it. Of course it doesn’t work for him and he ends up laughing his head off squirming and getting tangled up in the covers, SWEARING he will get up.
Momo gets very antsy when she’s sitting in one place for too long and tends to fidget with random things, such as her hair, or a pen in her hand. Though, when she is sitting next to one of the others she unintentionally starts fidgeting with them instead. Doing things like tapping their knees, fiddling with the sleeves, or the hem of their shirt, tracing their hand lines etc. Unknown to the fact she’s doing it— and that most of these things she does subconsciously is sooo ticklish to the others. Especially Okarun, he is VERY weak to light touch so things such as the hand tracing kills him.
She doesn’t notice, unless either Aira, Jiji or Okarun are unable to hold back and make a noise. WHICH THEY DO HOLD BACK FOR HER evennn their brave leader Aria because guys if it wasn’t obvious Aira definitely loves Momo so much!! Her act doesn’t fool me! She fights herself with it, “should I pull my hand away? Her hand is dangerously close to my knee…” in the end she doesn’t do anything and makes up some TERRIBLE reasoning in her head. Well.. Momo is my rival and with her being distracted thats a good— YOU ARENT FOOLING ANYONE
Jiji is the king of tickle fights, he may be super ticklish but he is also wayyy to strong and when it comes to Aira and Okarun he could probably throw them over his shoulder and tickle them. Thatssss why after they learned from Momo how ticklish Jiji actually is, most of their attacks on Jiji are done together. (Unless ofc Aira cheats with Acro Silky) Momo loves watching the chaos from the sidelines and Seiko hears it all praying Jiji doesn’t somehow get hit with a drop of cold sweat.
Not a headcannon im gonna get technical for a second… while writing these I kept thinking how to take into account everything with the Evil Eye but??? I mean??? I genuinely think Jiji would be fine it’s not like when you get tickled you’re in a cold sweat it’s a WORKOUT. So he’d be fine tickling others, but on the flip side Jiji mid getting wrecked by tickles and suddenly Evil Eye comes out would be funny asf. AND I MEAN JIJI CAN BLOCK IT BUT COULD HE IF HE WAS BEING TICKLED???? Anyways it’s fine since the deal exists and I say it goes so it goes.
I know these four aren’t living together anymore but the evil eye arc was genuinely one of my favs so I love to imagine the sleepovers they have now. Lots of them being when these situations happens because they are absolute losers. I think they deserve to be childish and have fun like that, love them all sososo much.
This is all for now, I will probably make a part 2 in the future and include more characters but for now HERE YOU GO!! I genuinely love all of these characters sooo much, once more I apologize for what this blog becomes when the anime releases.
