“Where is it?” IN yelled at the members in the living room.
“May we was what ‘it’ is” Seungmin said mockingly.
“You know! My hoodie, literally the one I always wear” IN replied (dramatically).
“I haven’t seen it” Hyunjin said, head in Chan’s lap.
“I haven’t either”
“Not me”
“Dang it” IN whispered as he continued to look around. That was, until.. Hanji walked into the room.
“What’s up my mammals” Han imitated Sid the sloth with the audio blasting. He was in one of those moods today.
“HANNI” IN screamed as he stomped over to Han who was on the other side of the room.
“What?!” Han shouted as he shuffled away from the younger, “What’s wro-! Oohhhh..”
“‘Ohhh’ yeah you’re wearing my hoodie! Where’d you find it?! Why are you wearing it.”
“Washing machine, it was warm” Han said, smiling.
“Give it back” IN said while walking closer to Han. He just continued to take steps back.
“Now” IN emphasized.
That was when Han ran out the room.
All the members burst out laughing, some of them yelling “run Han!!” or “go him Ayen!”. A bunch of instigators (<3).
Naturally, IN began chasing Han and was actually not that far off from catching the crazed quokka.
“I’m sorhorry!! Leave me ALONE!!” Han screamed as he ran through hallways and jumped over furniture. They were both laughing, Han more out of nervousness as he hugged IN’s hoodie to himself as he ran. This didn’t last long though as IN suddenly wrapped his arms around the older and held him in place
“Let me go!!” Han yelled as he writhed from side to side.
“Give me my hoodie back!” IN yelled back as he, still hugging Han around his waist, dug his fingers into his sides.
“Hehahaehey!! HEY! Ayehen stOHOP!” Han shrieked as he began to jump as much as he could while wiggling in IN’s arms. The little movements of IN’s fingers across his sensitive sides and ribs were bad.
“You should’ve given it back when I gave you the chance idiot!” IN said lovingly and entirely too close to Han’s ear and neck. He squealed away from IN as he laughed out.
IN soon stuck his hands into the hoodie pockets, which IN knew had a super thin layer separating them from the skin.
“NOAHA HAHA” Han yelled as IN tickled him crazy from inside the pockets. His knees folded and he began to fall to the floor.
“Plehehase!!!” Han begged as he curled up on the floor in an attempt to make IN’s hands move slower.
“Fine, I’ll take it off if you myself” IN said. And so he dug his cold hands under the hoodie.
“AAHA HAHA HAHA” Han yelled out as IN went crazy on his torso. Han quickly got back up and began shuffling around weirdly, trying to run to one side of the room and then directing his body another way to get away from IN’s fingers.
“STOHOAHAP!”
“Give it BAHACK!” IN retaliated.
“Fihine!!! Take it O- OHAHAFF TAKE IT off MEHE!” Han yelled through loud laughs.
IN began to pull the hoodie off of Han by tugging the hood up… until it got stuck right at the point where Han’s arms were shot in the air.
“IN.” Han said sternly.
“Mhm” IN giggled.
“No. Take it off” Han couldn’t even see at this point as the hoodie went from his neck to his arms only.
IN poked his stomach and stepped back, Han flailing around. He couldn’t run because… well… he couldn’t see.
He poked him again.
And again.
And again and again until Han was a puddle on the ground with nowhere to go except curl up into himself.
IN eventually let up and took the hoodie off the older, making sure to tell him to wash it again and not put it on once it was done drying.

-------------------------------------------------
Lee Know was casually walking down the hallway of the jyp building with Changbin. They had been discussing some random stuff, like choreo and what to eat.
“Pig!! I want pig” Lee Know said enthusiastically with a little skip to his step.
“We just ate can’t we get something less heavy?? Maybe soup” Changbin suggested.
“No. I’m hungry. I want pig and kimchi and a side of-“
“Heyyy heyy calm down” Changbin said as Lee Know rambled while motioning with his arms.
“I am calm! I want food!!” Lee Know yelled.
“SHHH!” Changbin said as people’s heads turned. He covered Lee Know’s mouth with his hand until Lee Know drilled his knuckles into his side.
Bin had a high pitched giggle until he removed his hand from Lee Know’s mouth. He then went to get him back by pinching his side, but Lee Know quickly blocked his hand and held his wrists down.
“I’m not ticklish” He said sternly.
“Lee Know.” Changbin said, giggling.
“Whahat!!?”
“Then why are you holding my wrists down??”
“…So you don’t make a fool out of yourself” Lee Know said, ears red.
“Mm okay” Changbin said. But when Lee Know let his wrists go, he would not stop poking him every few seconds until they stepped inside their room.
“STOP!” Lee Know yelled suddenly.
“But you’re not ticklish~~” Bin cooed as he continued on annoying him. He was having way too much fun with the older.
Lee Know still refused to fess up about his lie, stating that it was just annoying, and so Changbin proposed a massage.
“No.”
“No?” Bin questioned, “why not? You’re always complaining about being sore.”
“I don’t need one right now, that’s why. End of story”
“I think you do” and with that, Changbin went for Lino’s torso. It wasn’t easy to get the thrashing but down onto the carpet floor.. considering he was laughing and screaming and scratching and biting like a madman. Although, eventually, Bin managed to at least straddle Lino’s waist while he was facing up.
Lino had his hands out in front of him, as if ready to catch Bin’s hands wherever they went.
“A massage is supposed to happen on your back” Bin told him.
“Yah well I DON’T WANT ONE!” Lee Know yelled.
“Hmmm I guess we can start at the front then. You may not want it but you need it! Look at how tight these shoulders are!! Hold on-“ Changbin said as he began kneading into the skin of Lee Know’s collarbone.
Lino was dumbstruck. He knew he lied yet he was so stubborn that he refused to admit or show it. He simply crossed his arms and turned his head over to the side as Bin massaged into his collarbones and right next to the sensitive areas of his neck. Lino’s eyes were shut right and his ears already a bright shade of red as he tried his best to not make a sound.
“You look like you’re struggling” Bin giggled.
“Mm mm” Lee Know mumbled in defiance.
“Okay… then we can move on to your arms-“
“NO!” Lino yelled.
“No?”
“NO. I… I worked them out yesterday! They’re still sore”
“Yesterday was legs. Liar” Changbin said as has grabbed Lino’s wrist, pulled his arm all the way out to one side, and began to massage his bicep right above his armpit.
Lee Know was lightly kicking at this point. He really couldn’t take the light feelings like this. He began to smile and had to turn away once again.
“Why are you smiling?”
“Thought of sohomething funny.” Lino giggled.
“It’s not because of anything else though right?”
“Right.” Lee Know said, even though they both knew that was a damn lie.
“Well in that case..”
Lee Know didn’t even have time to process what was happening before Changbin shoved his hand right into his underarm, eliciting one of the loudest laughs he’d ever heard from the older.
“AHH AHAHAHA BINNIEHEHEHAHA” he screamed out whole thrashing every way he could.
“You said you weren’t ticklish!”
“NAHAHAHEA ENO- ENOUUAHAHAUGH! PLEHE HEHEHAAHAHA” Lee Know begged out.
Changbin began laughing too at Lee Know’s reactions, the two eventually brought to tears by each other. Lee Know was desperate in Changbin’s strong grip and Changbin’s couldn’t help but torment the older longer.
“GET OHOHOFF!!! AAAAHAH MOOHOVE” Lee Know yelled as he tried to shove at Changbin’s hands and failed, resulting in him throwing his head back in a ticklish heaven agony.
“PLEHEHEASE PLEHEhease pleheheaseh~” Lee Know kept repeating as Bin slows down the pace. The two were still giggling loudly with one another as they calmed down.
“You’re a liar.” Bin told him, “you knew I knew you were lying! There’s no way you didn’t!!”
“I only had a feeheheling!!” Lee Know argued.
“Then why’d you let me do that to you hmm?” Bin teased.
“Oh you know DAMN well I FOUGHT a good fight before you pinned me down… you’re bigger and stronger.. and shorter!” Lee Know laughed.
“Yeah, okay” Bin said as he drilled his thumbs into his collarbones one last time. He got up (after Lee Know tried to trip him by grabbing his ankle) and left him to compose himself on the floor, sweet giggles still pouring out like a waterfall.

-------------------------------------------------
Felix snuggled his head in closer to Changbin’s side. He’d been craving some cuddles the whole day, and finally got some time to sit with Bin! They weren’t watching or doing anything, simply sitting in silence and enjoying one another’s presence with faint tv noise in the background of Bin’s room.
Changbin set his hand on Felix’s side and rubbed it soothingly. Or, at least… he thought it was soothing until Lix began twisting side to side.
“You uncomfortable?” Bin asked.
“N- no, nah, just shuffling” Lix said as he casually rubbed at his side.
Bin turned back up at the tv and continued his tracing motions. It wasn’t long until Felix was again squirming around in place and buried his head further into Bin’s side.
Changbin looked down at Felix, smiled, and began tickling his side gently.
Felix broke out into high giggles, his face still buried into Bin’s side. He pushed at his hand a few times and mumbled a few “stohohop!”’s but none were laced with any anger, only fun.
“Bihihinie!” Felix whined as he turned over onto his back. One can only take so much teasing without their body forcing them to stop it. Unless…
Changbin adjusted himself and Felix. Felix’s back was now to Bin’s chest, and Bin’s muscular arm was holding Lix’s arms gently to his chest. Except… Lix’s arms were bent at the elbow, meaning Bin was holding his wrists down with his own arm. Also meaning… full access to his laugh buttons.
“This is comfy” Felix said with a lovable expression.
“Awww is it” Bin said as he gently rested his hand on Felix’s stomach.
“Yehes” Felix giggled out with the biggest, brightest smile on his face. When Bin curled his fingers in, Felix yelled a high “eeah!”
“Relaaax relax Yongbok” Bin said, shushing him. Felix just giggled again and buried his head down into the pillow under him as Changbin began his tracing once again. He was doing little shaped and drawings and skitters across Felix’s delicate skin. He traced around his abs and up and down his sides, all the while the giggly boy was red in the face while *quietly* laughing his heart out.
Felix kicked out lightly as Bin continued his ticklish journey across his abdomen, but Lix never once said to stop. Why would he? Bin was having fun, and Lix felt happy to feel such a sense of comfort from his big brother figure.
Bin decided not to tease the younger for now about his lack of wishing him to stop. He knew Felix was the brightest, most giggly of them all; and he loved it.
Bin himself began laughing along with Lix at his expressions. Lix’s sudden yelps when he traced over a bad spot, his kicks and throwing his head back when he felt that he couldn’t take it anymore.. followed by light giggles as he buried his head in embarrassment.
Changbin slowed down the pace to slow traced that were light, but not too light to be torturously ticklish. He didn’t want to break the boy either.
Obviously i should've done a post like this back in November after the event completed, but i had a lot going on Nov-Dec and so it had to be postponed until now lol
BUT! How did people feel about the Tickletober 2023 challenge? We had a lot of great lists going around and there was so much awesome content being made! I hope everyone really enjoyed the challenge!
That being said, what worked for y'all with Tickletober 2023 and what didn't? Obviously this is not a formal event, the only thing I can change is my (august-anon) own efforts surrounding list-making and the event, but I'd like to know what things could be made better!
What prompts on the august-anon list did you enjoy, and which did you not? (not asking for freedback on any list except the augtickletober one, as those are not my lists!)
What prompts would you like to see come back, or what prompts have you not seen that you'd like to see on a list?
How do you think this blog did with trying to help centralize the (SFW side) challenge a little bit? What can be changed and improved on to make things smoother in the future?
And any other feedback you have, feel free to share it as well!!
AM I GONNA MAKE THIS SHIPPY? I HAVEN’T DECIDED YET.
OH YES I DID- IM GONNA MAKE IT SHIPPY
I LOVE THEM A NORMAL AMOUNT!
Thanks for chilling in tktober and now it’s tkjanuary… I’ve got 8 more fics to write after this and I’ll be done!
—This do have tickles under the cut ngl. XINGQIU HAS A BIG FAT CRUSH ON CHONGYUN-
Tags: @chrimsss @ticklish-n-stuff
Xingqiu’s menacing actions against his “beloved” Chongyun were getting old quickly. The exorcist had had it up to here with “accidentally” getting slipped jueyun chilis in his popsicles or food, or getting so scared that his yang energy spikes and he gets so panicky and overheated.
The boy was supposed to be his friend? Morax be damned, it sure didn’t feel that way. He watched with a stoic face as Xingqiu explained the reasons as to why it was imperative that Chongyun accompany him.
“You don’t understand, dear Chongyun; there will be a high presence of spirits and violence! I need someone to protect me… someone strong…someone like you!”
“Xingqiu…” the pale-blue haired boy was a bit cross, “nine times out of ten- no- not even! No times out of ten have your claims of the presence of spirits been true! You drag me along with you for an adventure in the mountains and then I’m made a fool!”
The other gaped at him.
Oh… he felt this way?
“No pranks this time, I really did hear and see some strange occurrences last time I was there! Now, they may not be actual spirits, but it would mean a lot if you were there to protect me.”
The exorcist sighed, “Fine, I will never deny you protection if you request it.”
The two boys ventured into the mountains with Xingqiu gripping Chongyun’s sleeve in a worried manner.
The taller boy pondered for a bit, ‘is he actually worried? He must be toying with me again…’ “Everything okay, Xingqiu?” His other hand came up to rest atop of the one clinging to his arm for dear life.
“Mhm… yeah. Just uh, thought I heard something.”
Xingqiu had indeed heard something, for the wind whistled harshly and the bush before them rattled. Chongyun pushed the latter behind him, drawing his sword and splaying his arms out protectively.
The shorter male blinked as his face flushed, not used to the feral protectiveness of his best friend. “Be careful, Chongyun!”
Shaking fingers tightened around the hilt of his claymore. “I always am… Watch our flank, and tell me immediately if there’s any danger.”
Drawing his weapon, the dark-bluenette nodded. He summoned his rain swords and watched diligently. The boys stood in silence, danger senses heightened like crazy.
After a second, Chongyun’s eyes darted to a tree to their left. He swung his sword, and, without warning, slammed it into the tree. He groaned as a mora ferret scampered away, exhaling to level his energy. He whipped his head around in an intense concern.
The two’s eyes met, the pale-blue haired boy’s still burning with that icy intensity. Xingqiu’s face burned in response, a small squeak escaping his lips.
“Xingqiu.”
“Y-Yeah?”
“You’re awfully red…” Abandoning his claymore, which was stuck in the tree above him, he rushed to his best friend’s side and kneeled down. “Are you alright? Did something get you? Let me see your face-“
Two cold hands cooled his burning cheeks as the exorcist examined his upper body for any nicks or scratches.
“I-I’m okay, ‘Y-Yun,” the swordsman managed to choke, “I’m j-just um… oh gods…” His amber eyes widened and blinked a few times as Chongyun draped his jacket around his shoulders.
The exorcist smiled patiently as he ran his hand along his best friend’s face, cupping his cheek and rubbing his thumb against it. “Take a second and cool off; my jacket is insulated.”
The dark-blue haired boy nodded wordlessly, hiding his mouth with his thumb and forefinger. He watched as Chongyun went back to the tree, attempting to grab the claymore. He was a claymore user, so it’s no secret that he would have a strong physique.
But Morax above… Xingqiu wasn’t expecting how built his best friend was. Biceps pulsed as his arms pulled on the hilt of the stuck weapon. His shoulders and back tightened as he yanked at the large sword.
“L-Let me help,” Xingqiu murmured, placing a shaky hand on the center of the exorcist’s shoulders. ‘Dear gods…’ his hand came up to hide his blush again. “I’ll hang onto it, and you pull me.”
Chongyun had peeked over his shoulder. He cocked an eyebrow with a cheeky grin, noticing his best friend’s hand over his lips, plus the presence of the blush creeping to his ears. ‘Ah, so that’s what’s going on?’ “Sure. Arms up. I’ll hoist you up to grab it.”
“M’not that short,” Xingqiu murmured. He lifted his arms, prepping to grab the weapon. He squeaked when he felt cold hands grabbing his lithe hips.
“Oh, right. Forgot how ticklish you are… so adorable…” Chongyun teased, knowing fully well why his best friend had reacted that way.
Xingqiu closed his eyes to calm himself as his fingers wrapped around the sword. He yanked and yanked, but it did not budge. “Not working.”
The exorcist hummed. “Just don’t let go. Keep trying to pull it off. Whatever you do…” there was a rare tinge of playfulness lacing his tone, “don’t let go.”
“C-Chohohohongyuhuhun!” Xingqiu squealed as he felt fingers poke into his hips, “Dohohohohont!”
“Don’t let go! I can’t protect us without my sword,” the pale-blue haired boy chirped with a grin. He massaged his thumbs into the bones, cooing silently as the boy in his grasp started to kick his legs a bit.
“C-Chohohohongyuhuhun! Dohohohont drohohohop mehehehe!” the bookworm whined as his knuckles became white. “M-My grihihihihip ihihihits slihihihippihihing!”
“Aww, you poor thing. You just have to hang on, and get my claymore unstuck, and then it’ll be over.”
Xingqiu whined as he curled up onto the weapon, laying his arms and chest atop of it. His grip tightened and he pulled hard, the sword slipping a tiny bit. “Ihihihim gehehehettihihihing ihihit! Ihihit’s cohohomihihi-IHIHING NAHAHAHAHOHOHO!”
Chongyun wormed his fingers up under the boy’s arms, causing his grip to falter entirely, sending them both crashing down. The exorcist sat atop of the bookworm’s hips, a hand pinning both of his arms. Xingqiu’s face lit on fire once more as he looked away.
“Oh you are just the cutest thing! This is payback for all of the times you’ve tickled me or pranked me. An eye for an eye-“ his hands moved to the dark-blue haired boy’s ribs, tweaking at the hyper-ticklish bones below, “or a tickle for a tickle.”
Xingqiu squealed and laughed loudly, tucking his flushed face and ears into his shoulder in an attempt to hide in the jacket. “P-PLEHEHEHEHEASE! IHIHIHITS EMBAHAHAHARRASSIHIHIHING!”
“Oh? Is it embarrassing because I’m tickling you?” he leaned closer with a smug smile, ceasing his ticklish attack, “or maybe it’s because I’m tickling you?”
“I-I don’t like th-the look you’re giving me,” Xingqiu squeaked in a high-pitched whisper.
“Oh my dearest, oh Xingqiu…” his fingers continued their attack on the bookworm’s ribs. “For someone who reads so many stories, you are not very attentive.”
Legs kicked as the shorter male’s face fell into the jacket again. “Y-YUHUHUHUN! YOHOHOHOURE SOHOHOHO MEHEHEHEAN!”
The attack stopped, leaving a panting Xingqiu. His eyes were pricked with gentle tears, his face was red as a tomato, his hair was disheveled. After a few seconds, he sat up, now face-to-face with his best friend.
“Y-You had that- *pant* you were p-planning that, weren’t you?”
“Nope, it just kind of happened in the spur of the moment. Are you okay?” Chongyun replied with a bashful smile, dismounting and standing up, offering a hand.
“F-Fine,” he puffed, taking the outstretched hand and shakily getting on his feet. “Spur of the moment my behind. You’ve been plotting, admit it!”
“Fine! You want spur of the moment?” the pale-blue haired boy yelped, “here!”
The world slowed down for Xingqiu as the boy he’d loved for so long kissed him with a soft intensity. His hands found the exorcist’s shoulders and rested there, melting into the moment he’d imagined thousands of times in the past.
The two broke apart after a second. It was quiet before Chongyun spoke with a warm smile, cupping the boy’s cheek. “I can’t believe you never noticed. Did you not realize how easily I gave in to coming with you today?”
Xingqiu chuckled bashfully, resting his head on the other’s shoulder. “Let me be… I was a bit distracted... By the way, your claymore is still in the tree.”
The pale-blue haired boy rolled his eyes with a grin. He rolled the sleeves of his undershirt, walking over to the tree. “Take a popsicle from the inside pocket of the jacket; cool yourself off. I’m a bit worried I teased you too much.”
Xingqiu only hummed as he obliged, watching Chongyun’s struggle with the sword once more.
“Enjoying the view?” the exorcist teased with a small grunt of effort.
“S-Shut up.”
Xingqiu stuck a popsicle in his mouth as the familiar blush crept back to his face and ears.
NOBODY EVEN SPEAAAAAK OMG MY BABYYYY 😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I had to throw Lee Finral in there… Oopsies.
Oh no! Angst queen struck again and made it h/c! Whatever will you do?!

It was no surprise that sometimes Asta got into a funk. He’s never once cried in front of his team, and he tries to stay as chipper as he can, but sometimes he just has his days.
This particular day had been absolutely horrid, with the young boy accidentally waking an hour later than he usually did. This threw his entire schedule off kilter.
He had to train twice as fast, which made his muscles sore and tender. He hobbled inside of the base, holding his sore shoulder. (2,000 swings really did a number on his dominant arms.
He missed breakfast and had to ask Charmy to cook something for him with his tail between his legs—Of course, the woman didn’t much mind, always happy to provide a meal.
He wordlessly ate his late breakfast and sighed. Maybe the rest of the day would be better?
To his dismay, it was very much not.
Asta ran his face through his hands as he took a bathroom breaks few hours later. It wasn’t fair. Why was the universe so against him? He had to hold in his anguish so he wouldn’t take out his frustrations on his teammates. He smacked his cheeks a few times and plastered on a smile.
“It’ll be okay! It’s just like a game of pretend. As long as I keep smiling, nobody will notice anything’s going wrong!” he chimed to himself in the mirror.
He finished washing his hands and exited the bathroom. His smile was painfully fake, but nobody who wasn’t focused on him would notice.
What he didn’t know is that his senior had heard his “affirmation” through the door as he passed by…
The whole squad sat down for lunch: rice, meat, and peas—courtesy of Charmy— with some almond sugar cookies for dessert—courtesy of Gordon.
Asta’s eyes lit up as he noticed the cookies; things were definitely making a turn for the better.
Anyone attentive would have easily noticed Asta’s off behavior. He was unusually quiet, and eating very carefully. (He did not want to risk dropping ANYTHING. Gods know that would likely be his last straw and he’d start crying right here and now.)
The anti-magic user finished his bowl of food and engaged in light conversation, only replying in short sentences. Finral watched his junior with a slight frown; Asta looked so uncomfortable, and had that stupid fake smile plastered on his face.
When it was time for the cookies to go around, the ash-blonde reached excitedly for one. As he brought it up to his mouth, it cracked in half and fell on the ground.
All eyes turned to look at him in confusion. Normally, he would’ve whined and reached for another one, but the boy’s chest was heaving a bit as his lip wobbled.
‘Not good’ Finral thought as he opened a tiny portal near his waist. The other end of the portal appeared at the same height on Asta’s side.
As tears pricked the corners of the anti-magic user’s eyes, they were quickly blinked away as a squeak left his lips. A pinch to his side had brought him back to reality. “Aaaaaa! I dropped it! Gimme another one! Please please pleeeeeease!!” He had tried acting like he normally did and made grabby hands at Noelle, who promptly scoffed and put one directly between his teeth. “fenk yew!”
The spatial mage smiled. Mission accomplished.
Asta ate the cookie happily, and Finral could tell that it instantly improved his mood a bit. Though, as his senior, he couldn’t help but be a bit mischievous… The brunette waited until the boy had finished chewing then opened another portal. He skittered his fingers across Asta’s stomach.
The ash-blonde giggled and slapped a hand over his mouth, glaring daggers at his senior. Finral smiled innocently at him, waving with the hand that was not currently tickling the boy.
“What are you doing?” he hissed, “this is so nohohot fahahair!”
Finral held a finger to his lips and grinned sweetly. He let two fingers pinch around the anti-magic user’s torso. Asta rested his head on the table as he giggled quietly.
Vanessa cocked an eyebrow at the resident feral child being uncharacteristically quiet. Her gaze shifted to Finral, whom she noticed had his hand through a hidden portal. She smiled in realization as she saw Asta’s shoulders heaving with laughter; Finral really was a really sweet guy.
The brunette snaked his hand under Asta’s grey tee shirt and traced his fingers up and down the swordsman’s sides and middle.
“Fihihihinrahahal.” The ash-blonde whined sotto voce, “Ihihihit tihihihickles!”
“What did you say, idiot?” Noelle quipped, turning her attention to him. It was at that point that she noticed the portal, and Asta’s giggling figure. Her face flushed as she went quiet. Asta looked… adorable like this!
“Fihihihinrahahal- plehehehease.”
Noelle looked at Finral until he caught her eye. She looked around the table to make sure all other parties were distracted before pointing to her own underarms.
The spatial mage smiled and shot her a wink of understanding. He mirrored the girl’s actions, taking notice of how many were watching. It seemed that Vanessa, Noelle, and Gordon had caught on and were spectating his little game.
Now, Finral was not an evil person; there wasn’t a lick of malice in his body. But he had to get Asta back for not respecting his authority all of those times… He had to find a way to get everyone to notice how giggly the ash-blonde had become.
It was time to go for the kill. He opened another portal and snaked his other hand under the boy’s shirt, bringing both up to tickle under his arms.
Asta squealed loudly and sank in his chair as he giggled helplessly. “Fihihihinrahahahal! Stahahahappihihihit!”
“Ey, Wheels, what’re you doin’ to the kid?” Yami asked, standing up and walking to the spatial mage.
“Nothing sir! I’m not sure what’s going on!” The brunette feigned innocence, trying to hide the portals he had made with the rest of his body.
“Ohhhh so that’s what’s happening?” Yami Cheshire grinned, “Let’s see if you can take what you can dish out.”
“Yami, no! Wait, hold on! Let’s have a civil, adult conversAHAHAHAHATIOHOHOHOHON! WAHAHAHAHAIT!”
The entire squad had definitely discovered the game, unfortunately at the expense of poor Finral’s dignity. The two mages laughed helplessly as the rest watched them with smiles.
After a few minutes, both parties were completely exhausted, with Asta lasting longer than Finral… as usual… In the spatial mage’s defense, Yami was absolutely ruthless, and went for his death spot immediately.
Everyone started to clear from the table, helping Charmy to clean up—or running away from duties in Luck and Magna’s case— and rinsing the dishes off.
Finral quickly grabbed four cookies from the platter, portaling them to his nightstand for later. He scribbled a note onto a napkin and portaled it into Asta’s lap, disappearing to his room shortly after.
When the ash-blonde had gone to stand up and take a break in his room, he noticed the small napkin and opened it as he walked the halls toward his bedroom.
‘My door is always open if you wanted to tell me what’s troubling you. Sorry about earlier… I couldn’t stand to see you fake smiling and not do something about it’
The boy’s threatening tears returned to prick the corners of his eyes as he turned on his heel toward his senior’s room.
When the ash-blonde arrived, the door opened to reveal a sympathetic-looking Finral, holding a cookie in his hand. The boy fell forward into the brunette’s chest, causing him to portal the cookie to safety. He knelt down and wrapped his arms around the boy, kicking the door shut with his foot.
“Don’t hold back,” he murmured, rubbing Asta’s back reassuringly, “Tell me what’s going on, Asta. It’s okay, just cry it out…”
