Speaking from experience, it varies? If you can get all of it off of your skin it’ll go away faster, usually. Benadryl helps sometimes. But really it varies depending on how severe the reaction is. I am so, so sorry you’re having to deal with this. Was it a new bottle of cleanser or an old one?
update: im no longer red, just a blotchy kind of pink but i can see my regular skin tone now
what i did was i washed it off entirely and then added my moisturizer bc my skin felt.... flaky and idk like old wrinkled paper. it helped cool the burning down tremendously. anyway, it was an old bottle. rather, the bottle i had in use. i threw it out. the last thing i want is this to happen again ;A;

my period’s going to come soon so im like highkey breaking out the way mother nature has me break out every month so i was like, after i worked out and showered, hey man im gonna cleanse my face with my usual face wash and like it was burning but i just figured it was supposed to do that bc it always did that (but ive never reacted like this????) so i wash it off and i start to notice my face is red. like. snooki. i am currently not an orange snooki. i am a red snooki. and obvs i washed it all off and im just sitting here. red in the face. and im worried bc i work tomorrow at 7 i cant have anyone looking at me like this will it be gone by then sara i need to know these things im panicking.

listen the first time noct sees sakura heal he’s like “WOW WHICH ELIXIR DOES THAT?!” and sakura’s like “???? lolwhut” to which noct is like “........what.” and its then that he realizes hes like in an entirely different dimmension. he thinks sakura is the coolest person ever because did you see her punch a hole on the ground?! she’s the reason why he tries to punch everything now instead of using his armiger.
meanwhile sasuke is just like “who is she” but in the dismissive kind of way, about luna. before he realizes she’s awakening all these gods and goddesses and hes like “why dont they come and fight me themselves. cowards.” so naturally he thinks nothing of her til he sees her use the trident. he’s speechless in that impassive-face-im-not-giving-anything-away way sasuke does things. she has his respect after that.
