I think we need to see far more of movies like these, with non-traditional ww2 stories,  things that happened, that don't really feature fighting, famous names, or made up feel-good stories about kids in wartime.

This is the sort of event that gets forgotten in the big picture, and it shouldn't be. Soldiers are humans and make human mistakes, they also rape nuns while invading an occupied country.

It's also really something else to watch a movie where 90% of the talking and interactions are between women.
