Yayy actually made some progress on two different short fics this weekend

my mom agreed to go with me to try and see the DC fireworks tonight! since its so last minute i still need to figure out where we should watch from

#metro is gonna be free all evening so thats a plus but it might get more crowded than normal #no clue how crowded or not it will be since its been so hot

started listening to the World War Z audiobook and I'm really liking it so far.

the voice actors are great and the vignettes have strong characters and unique character voices

#i especially enjoyed the scummy doctor and the suburban mom ones #it feels like its more about how people react to a crisis than zombies #and the use of the word zombie has been very restrained lol

Just saw the backrooms movie!

I liked it, the scares got me, it was felt artsy without being pretentious. There were a couple of times i thought about the implication of something and the movie would have already foreshadowed it!

The audience was solidly zoomers (average age had to be like somewhere around 23), which i found myself initially surprised by
