I've been doing my calculus homework while listening to the Les Mis OBC recording on repeat and I think I've found my new study playlist. Did they figure out how to put drugs into an audio recording or something? It just makes me really hyped for whatever it is I'm doing at the time, even if that means doing derivatives for two hours straight. When I get particularly stuck I just put Do You Hear The People Sing on repeat for a while. I need to find more musicals about revolution and such this is great my brain is just like, "I really wanna overthrow the government but I don't know how so I'll settle for finishing my homework early"

next. um. quick confession. i have NEVER listened to stars on the obc AT ALL because I JUST SKIP TO RED & BLACK IM SO SORRY 😭😭

actually not counting when i saw lm live i have never listened to any javert sing stars. 

uhhh wait no if i’ve watched the movie like at least 4 times already and sat through russell crowe’s rendition every time does that count. i think it does.

i like plumet attack. i would make a comment on david bryant’s vibrato for the umpteenth time but then i’d launch into a subrant about the greatness of marius pontmercy in the obc and that would be boring. that’s all :3

okay so FINALLY we have odm which is the end of act i and sets up the premise of act ii!!! the way they orchestrated everyone’s motifs makes me v happy.

eponine’s & marius’ motifs are my favorite
