At least 12 cast members of the US touring company of Les Mis are choosing not to perform on June 11th, when 🍊💩 will be attending for a fundraiser.
Important: even if you know the names of any of these actors, please DON’T name them or even speculate “I bet it’s xxxx”.
Richard Grenell, the 🍊💩- installed Executive Director of the Kennedy Center, has said “In fact, we think it would be important to out those vapid and intolerant artists to ensure producers know who they shouldn’t hire - and that the public knows which shows have political litmus tests to sit in the audience.”
Don’t let these artists be targeted for harassment. Please, in solidarity, keep their names out of this.
When President Donald Trump descends on the Kennedy Performing Arts Center next month for a high-dollar fundraiser and a performance of “Les
I just want to thank Kyle Adams for his legendary portrayal of Grantaire on the US tour these past few years! It was an absolute delight getting to see his performance in person and seeing this fandom's reaction
If I was Javert I would've killed myself the second Grantaire clocked me. Got called gay by the gayest guy on the whole barricade.
notes from the closing show of the les mis us national tour:
june 28, 2026 citizens opera house, boston ma
- First off, everyone was giving their ALL, the show was fun the last two times i saw it, but the energy was INSANE tonight
- Big round of applause for the outfit change into at the end of the day
- Given it was the last night, performers were less concerned with preserving their voices so they were holding out notes for longer an singing louder, gold star goes to the fantine actress (Lindsay Heather Pearce), who held out the high note in i dreamed a dream in a way i didn’t even know was possible
- A solid 45 seconds of STRONG applause for stars (also bonus shout out to Hayden Tee for going on insta a few days ago and saying he’s been playing Javert as gay and in love with Valjean, my king it showed TRUST)
- After every episode one of gavroche’s (Rocco Van Auken) little solos he got a full audience applause, even if the timing wasn’t right, he was ADORABLE
- during red and black, grantaire’s actor (Kyle Adams) was really big on blowing kisses to people, mainly Enjolras (Daniel Gerard Bittner) this continued through the rest of the performance)
- eponine’s actress (Jaedynn Latter) cried during on my own, i think it was genuine
- When eponine died and marius’s (Peter Neureuther) microphone turned off he said “eponine? eponine? i’m sorry, i’m sorry” and began to rock her back and forth, he was handed her hat by gavroche and kept it in his belt
- Standing ovation for nick cartell after bring him home
- The kid playing gavroche was less then half the height of grantaire (grantaire’s actor must be at LEAST 6’5, taller than enj too)
- Blonde, long hared grantaire, a concept im on board with
- Brown ponytail enjolras (pretty sure that was his actual hair)
- During drink with me, after grantaire’s solo, rather tha th usual hug or tender moment, grantaire and enjolras get in an off-microphone verbal fight
- After Gavroche dies, Grantaire spends most of the gun fight either sitting next to Gavroche in despair or looking up at the barricade unsure what to do
- Enjolras eventually came down and met him in a small intimate conversation, they were low to the floor and either their heads together Enjolras kissed the top of Grantaire’s head (i also went to the june 18th performance and there enj held their foreheads together so i think this was a final night special thing)
- Grantaire was the last person to die (i think this is normal?), he took no interest in the barricade itself until enjolras was shot and tumbled over
- When the show ended, cartell had a speech printed out and invited the backstage crew onstage, the speech included the statistic of almost 25k character deaths on stage during the tour’s run
- orchestra gave them a playout
congratulations to the cast and crew and what a fantastic finish to the tour!
