i simply do not understand jean valjeans singing 'bring him home' at concerts and award shows and such i simply do not understand why it 'inaccurate to the book sappy song' when they COULD be more accurate to the character and sing 'what have i done' onstage, giving a better and more accurate grasp onto the character of jean valjean as he has a breakdown onstage. if i were a jean valjean i would simply have a book-accurate breakdown via song, rip to all pf y'all but i'm different
