Welcome to Sapphic Tox-Tober, an October F/F and F/NB toxic fan work event!
A lot of times FF fan events can focus on lighthearted shippy moments, but some of our favorite ships have seriously twisted moments that don't fit shippy, romantic prompt lists. So this is a prompt list for fan art, fanfic, fanvids/fancams/fanedits (can you tell I'm old), and mood boards about screwed up sapphic relationships.
You can do all of the prompts or only the few that speak to you. The prompts are designed to inspire a wide variety of fan creation. So the "crime" prompt could be about jaywalking, or could be about murder. It's up to the creator how extreme they want to take the prompt!

Everyone in any fandom. You don't need to be sapphic to participate.

This event is open to all fandoms.

Tumblr and an ao3 collection.
What content is eligible:
All WLW, WLNB, FF and sapphic ships are welcome. This includes ships with bisexual or pansexual women and trans women, but if it's a poly ship please no men. Any length is welcome for written fic. The main criteria, aside from being sapphic, is it needs to fit the spirit and be toxic. It can be lightly toxic in a way that is easily worked out, or full on abusive DD:DNE work. It's up to the creator to decide how far they want to go with the prompts.
RULES:
NO AI. Obviously there's no hard and fast way to for sure detect that something is AI generated, so we have to go off the honor system. But if you are going to use AI for this, ask yourself, why should I ask people to read something I couldn't be bothered to write/draw/edit? Fan events are about creativity and sharing ourselves with others. The fun is taken out of it if you use AI, which plagiarizes other people's work and is bad for the environment besides.
TAG TRIGGER WARNINGS. Please put trigger warnings in your tags on Tumblr and AO3. Some of these prompts can be done in ways that may remind people of things they find triggering so please communicate up front so that people have the opportunity to take care of themselves and skip your particular fan work!
SHIP AND LET SHIP. DON'T LIKE DON'T READ. Other people in the event may be in fandoms you are opposed to or write a ship you hate or a trope you find upsetting. Leave them alone about it.
