Until Dawn is intended to be a subversion and parody of all these tropes it's just not a very GOOD subversion. as someone who loves horror as well as parody and satire I never understood why people liked it so much.

benadryl boy sounds like something you would call yourself????

that’s fair but it’s actually user computerworm’s squad (idk his current url but that was my favorite one he’s used), so called bc they were using it to get high — which, for the record, benadryl (or anything else with diphenhydramine in it) is about the least fun recreational drug i can think of, since it can cause extremely vivid and disturbing hallucinations and prolonged dissociative states. closest i ever came to that shit was when i accidentally took too much nyquil (same active ingredient) and 1) thought the walls were breathing 2) fell asleep and woke up with sleep paralysis and hallucinated that there was a nonhuman intruder in my bedroom
